Money is always an incentive to fight, Weidman would be an interesting fight if he can beat another top guy or 2. Would like to see him embarrass Bisping personally.

Give up the title? GSP only fights once a year and still has his title, why should it be different for Silva?

Silva doesn't have that many fights left in him. Would you rather he fight guys like Weidman and Bisping, or guys like GSP and Jones?

If Silva's fight at the end of 2013 is the fight against GSP, when does Silva fight again? End if 2014? If so, that will make it well over two years that the Middleweight title wasn't defended. Silva has absolutely nothing left to prove at middleweight.

Silly question, of course the answer GSP or Jones. Those fights are probably not gonna happen though. Especially since Jones recently said he wants to move to heavyweight by 2013. Maybe it's a wait till GSP can gain weight and move up himself. Smells like a money move to me though. He isn't slowing down at all, I know father time hits out of nowhere sometimes though. Which is another reason why the year off is confusing to me.

Agreed that he has nothing to prove, at that weight class. The fan in me wants to see him fight though. He's the GOAT imo.

Also, season finale of TUF this Friday (not the fight finale, but last episode). I don't know what's up with Dana, but in the quarterfinals, and semifinals he's got teammates fighting. He's got the two best guys fighting in the semis, rather than setting them up for the finals. Kind of weird. I'm pulling for Ricci.

I agree, when he announced the match ups I was surprised. Trying to get one from each team in the finals I guess.
