This is true. Its been a very very boring season. IMO And I honestly don't see any of these guys carving out a career in the UFC. Maybe Ricci if he drops a weight class.

What do you guys think of the new women's division?

Any word if/when Cyborg enters the octagon?

I have a feeling Ronda Rousey will break her 3rd arm February.

They women are exciting, they definitely bring it. I haven't heard anything on Cyborg.

Rousey is a beast! A very sexy beast, but a beast non the less. Her and Cyborg would be fun to watch!

I know this isn't UFC talk, but has anyone seen Nick Newell fight? The kid with half an arm. I've seen his last four fights. I thought it was pure gimmick at first, but the kid has serious skills. The half an arm makes his sub attempts extremely difficult to defend, no wrist control. I've yet to figure out why someone hasn't simply thrown a right head kick, or right hook him to death. I am really impressed by the young man though.

Again sorry it's not UFC, just knew it would get ignored elsewhere.

He just won the XFC lightweight title. He's a great fighter especially considering he has 1 arm(9-0 W/L), but I believe he would get destroyed by someone with great take down defense. All the fights I've seen he was able to get take downs at will.

Yeah I watched that fight tonight. I agree a top guy would kill him, still a great story though. He is a super strong kid too, that take down he had tonight was pretty awesome.

Just watched TUF, and HOLY SH!T what a ko by Ricci!!! He is going to destroy Colton. Wow!

Edit: You know it's a nasty ko, when the dude comes to and starts trying to grapple with the ref. Lol

I just realized how much I don't care about the Nelson and Mitrione fight. Might not even watch it, honestly. I've been so disappointed with the UFC lately, not that it's their fault this time. Carwin has been out forever, Shogun was coming off an injury not long ago. Not only are they my favorite fighters but guys like that are really exciting to watch. I've been looking forward to Carwins return for over a year so him being out is a low blow. Gah!

Fortunately, there is a good card tonight but still :(

Cyborg vs Rousey probably won't happen for awhile. Cyborg doesn't want to move down and Rousey refuses to move up in weight.

I think there are a few guys that could make it. Like Neil Magny is a beast, but really inexperienced. I do like Ricci. He is talented, but as you said he may be too small to be a contender in this weight class. He's blowing through these guys, though.

Ben Alloways KO in the Prelims tonight was sick.

Hector Lombard was just VICIOUS!!! This is the Lombard I was expecting from his first fight. Middleweights beware.

And Sonnen, he can just move up to avoid him lol. Hey when Sonnen loses to Jones do you think he could try to move up again and fight JDS? Seems that he would deserve it, based on the criteria used to move him up to Jones.

Man get real, Sonnen is gonna smash Jones. Then move up smash JDS and be the GOAT! Maybe just maybe Superman can stop the Juggernaut that is Chael Sonnen! Where the hell is my sarcasm emoticon!?!? Lol Seriously Sonnen would probably get beat by GSP. So maybe a move to 155 is in order. Hopefully he will follow the last guy that jumped around and got title fights, and be a broadcaster. Yes I am talking to you Kenny Florian. Lol

Well the Smith vs Ricci fight didn't go how I expected. As I said Ricci needs to drop a weight class. Barry was impressive. I'm pissed that Varner backed out of the Guillard fight. That would have been exciting. Like him or hate him Big Country brings it!

The guy with the Sambo suplexes was f-ing awesome. I've never seen someone dominate in that fashion.

Just realized Colton won TUF.

I didn't bother watching the finale with Carwin out and I'm glad I didn't after seeing Colton won. The one guy I didn't want to win it, won it. :mad:

After he done the fake hand touch, dive for a take down **** in his first fight, I really wanted someone to smash that guy.

I'm a werstler and a BJJ guy but I'm completely unimpressed with the push them aginst the wall and hold them down fighters.

IMO if the judges decided the guy with guard was winning it would force people to pass and try to finish the fight.
