I haven't watched it yet. Hoping to watch it and this week's TUF tomorrow.

Ben, did you get to watch?...or did you have to set the VCR?

Lol no i didn't watch it, i could have on the contraption i got here that has the interwebz on it, but i was watching other stuff instead

After watching this past Saturday's fights:

I think Barao will beat Cruz when/if they fight.

I can't believe Cub Swanson is now a legit title contender. Dude was close to getting dropped in the WEC. What a career turnaround he has had.

Gunnar Nelson is a stud. Reminds me of Lyoto Machida the way he fights. We'll be seeing a Nelson/MacDonald WW title fight in the next 2-3 years.

Good comeback win for Te Huna, who should start getting a bump in competition after his win over Jimmo. I have no idea how he survived that head kick. That was a HUGE shot.

Nelson needs to drop to 155. He cuts no weight. Rory MacDonald would throw him around just like he did to Nate Diaz. Great talent for sure. 170 is not the weight class for him.

He might surprise you. Santiago (who used to fight at MW) is really big for a WW, and Nelson still had his way with him. Granted, MacDonald>>>>>>>>>Santiago, but I still want to see him against top competition at 170 before he drops. (which will probably happen eventually)

Santiago is over matched in the UFC and perhaps had a lot of hype but he isn't a UFC level fighter. He did not try and use his greater size to his advantage one bit. Over 170 fighters won't be so easy on Gunner...
