Totally agree, how a guy goes from getting destroyed by the middleweight champ to getting a shot at the light heavyweight title, is the dumbest thing I've heard. I dont know how the justify him getting it.

Wiped the mat with him? Yes he choked him out in pretty nasty fashion. But machida looked good against Jones aside making a mistake. And won the first round. Definitely threatened Jones the most so far. And argue over being entitled to anything, when Chael is getting a shot is extremely laughable.

And like TOP said Dana said most impressive fighter, on the shogun vs Vera card, gets the shot. Machida was BY FAR the most impressive fighter that night.

Chael Sonnen is a gimmick. He'll say some stupid s*** and fans will pay to watch him get his teeth knocked out.

I've said numerous times I don't care for Bones but in this case, I hope he makes a mockery of this fight and finishes it in the first round.

I had watched it twice to see if one of the guys hit the ground first because ya know, maybe the guy who was up a half second longer could be considered the winner(not really lol). They both hit the floor at the exact same time. There was no hesitation on the way down. Their night was over on the moment of impact.

Have you all seen the one where the guy got choked unconscious at the bell. They woke him back up, and he came back and won the fight? It made them change the rule. Evidently in whatever state it was, if you got ko'd or choked out at the bell, you got the time between the rounds to recover. It was pretty nutts.
