Not trying to attack you Huff. I like you.

It's just my opinion.

I wouldn't sell any UFC fan down the river because of a disagreement. To each their own and I'm glad you're a fan. :)

Me too huff, sorry if I came across that way. I'm just very passionate about the sport. I dont want it to regress in anyway over bad match ups. I do see your point btw. I just want good fights.

The BCS just got wiped out, didn't it?

A playoff is on the way. I didn't mind it but I'm also a Tennessee fan and they play in the SEC.

It's bad for the sport because I want to see the two teams that played through the field to get to the top. The NY Giants clawed and scratched their way to the top last season. All of those fighters in the light heavyweight division clawed and scratched their way to the top.

Now we got some butthole giving a middleweight loser a title shot because he has a big mouth that sells tickets.

UFC is becoming a joke riding the back of Dana White. He complains about TUF fighters being strategic to win a fight that makes or breaks their career. He just wants retards that sell money. "Go throw punches wildly, that done be what I want". said Dana White.

Dana White is the worst. To each their own but that's how I view it. He's a scumbag.

Yes, he promoted UFC and helped make MMA popular. The same way he built the company up, is exactly how he's destroying it. He got the fans he wanted. He's just willing to sell them down the river for money.

I rarely wish injuries on athletes. Michael Vick is one of them. But at this point, I hope Jon Jones puts a feeding tube in Chael Sonnen's mouth to put an end to this garbage.

Do we have any VN resident psychologists that can break this down for us?

I didn't feel attacked. All in good fun :)

Didn't Machida recently get offered a shot, and bailed because of injury?

Nope. He turned it down because he didn't think two weeks was enough time to properly prepare for Jones. That's why he is now fighting Henderson. Dana got mad and wants him to win another now.

See I'm actually looking forward to Jones vs. Sonnen. Do I think it's going to be a good fight, no. But sometimes you need to just sit back and enjoy something for what it is, and in this case I'm going to enjoy watching a major beat down.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, but it shouldn't be a title shot

There ya go. That would make this far more acceptable.

You don't give a guy that's lost his last two title fights and coming off a loss a title shot in a higher weight class. It's not like the light heavyweight division is a crappy division with a weak champion. The champion has 17 wins(11 UFC wins) and has never been beaten.

I've never been a bigger Jones fan than I am for this fight. Well, maybe the Evans fight. Regardless, I stand by wanting Jones to KO Sonnen in record time. That way dumb fans such as Sonnen fans won't be the deciding factor in making a fight happen ever again.

More quotes from UFC fighters...

"It's kind of out of order," Dos Santos said of the UFC's title shot system. "Nowadays, the UFC is prioritizing those fights which will sell well. A prime example of this was Chael Sonnen."

"He should go someplace where people like his interviews and loves the way he talks s--t on everybody," Jackson said. "I can't stand that boy."

"It's like he practices his stuff in the mirror that he goes out and says. He's a great wrestler. That's all I'm going to say, because everything else sucks."

"He can't punch hard. Look what he did to Anderson Silva. He did a great job holding Anderson down, making a boring fight with a decorated champion. I didn't even see the fight, but I heard about it the day after the fight – Anderson didn't even have a mark on him. Not a mark. He's weak."

His gimmick has not only made him hated by most UFC fans, but his fellow fighters have zero respect for him. I just can't comprehend the fans that want to see this. None of the fighters agree with it and rightfully so. I'm not a Rampage fan but everything he said is true. Sonnen is not very good and he should be in the WWE. That's basically what Rampage was hinting at.

I will require an underwear change if Sonnen even makes this a fight.

Just curl up in a ball, take your beating and collect your paycheck for having a big mouth.

Some Jones quotes. He sounds really worried...

"Maybe he will get me down, and if he does, so what? His ground-and-pound is very weak, and he gets submitted from the top position all the time. I think I have a very solid jiu-jitsu game off my back, and I'm never able to display it. I freaking love wrestling, so I'll be preparing to use my takedowns against him, but if he does get me down, I won't feel any threat off my back against Chael."

"I know for a fact that if I get him down, his face is probably going to open up. I just think that when it comes to wrestling, I have nothing to worry about. I really don't see any way for Chael to win this fight, but I'm still going to train like a madman, because losing to Chael is not an option. I'm going to treat him like he's the biggest opponent I've ever had."

Rampage vs Sonnen would have alot of good build up

I could care less that this is a title fight. Jones is going to destroy him so why bother complaining. And if by chance Sonnen does win, then by golly he beat Jon Jones and deserves the belt. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy this fight for the display of dominance Jones will inflict.

I really never get tired of seeing that knee!

I still don't agree with that because he leap frogged a handful of guys that should have gotten the fight.

Sorry but I'm not excited for this fight, think Dana White is an a-hole and don't think Chael Sonnen is very good.

Gotta stay true to my feelings. I can't change the outcome but I can at least voice my opinion about Dana White being a sellout. Look at the fan support for Jon Gruden... IF he ends up our coach, I have to believe fans voicing their opinion played a role in getting him. I post on an MMA forum and I'm glad that there are so many people pissed off about this and making it known.

If enough people voice their opinion, maybe Dana White will be inclined to never do this again. That's how I look at it anyways. People are free to look at it as whining and complaining but as a fan of the sport, I can hope that the fans unhappy with this are heard.

I really hope one more beat down will be the end of this clown and his WWE gimmick.

Just so I don't annoy too many people, I won't post anymore complaints leading up to the fight. My parting words on the subject... well, I'll just post Chael Sonnen's UFC stats.

Record: 6-5
Wins: 5 decisions, 1 submission
Losses: 4 submissions, 1 tko

:crap2:

He leap frogged the whole division, I cant think of 3 lhw's that he could actually beat. When was the last time he fought at lhw? 2007 i'm thinking. I mean come on. Me and a buddy argue over Chael all the time, bringing up his record usually ends the argument. Like you said, he's just not that good. His record would get most guys ran out of the UFC, but he knows how to sell a fight. Maybe he can go be King Mo's tag team partner in wrestling.

My mouth is zipped about that one dude who keeps getting undeserved title shots but I am looking forward to December.

December 8th
Benson Henderson vs. Nate Diaz
Maurício Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson
B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald
Mike Swick vs. Matt Brown
Brendan Schaub vs. Lavar Johnson(prelim)

December 15th
Shane Carwin vs. Big Country

December 29th
Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez
Forrest Griffin vs. Phil Davis
Chris Weidman vs. Tim Boetsch
Gray Maynard vs. Joe Lauzon
Alan Belcher vs. Yushin Okami
Chris Leben vs. Karlos Vemola(prelim)

I'm so excited for Shane Carwin to be back. He's my favorite fighter followed by Shogun. I hope Carwin is back to full form and continues knocking dudes out in the 1st round. He's a monster. And Shogun, I'm worried about his fight. If he beats Gustaffson, hopefully that makes him the next number one contender since I have no idea who it's supposed to be anymore. Thought it was supposed to be Hendo followed by Machida but as long as they're picking and choosing number one contenders at random, a healthy Shogun would be legit with a win. Gustaffson's only loss is to Phil Davis. Phil Davis's only loss is to Rashad Evans.

As for the Bendo and Diaz fight, I can't stand Diaz. Easy decision to pull for Bendo in that fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Diaz wins..

JDS and Cain, awesome. I'd be okay with either outcome.

Forrest Griffin, Phil Davis, Chris Weidman, Joe Lauzon, Rory MacDonald, BJ Penn and Chris Leben. Some good up and coming fighters mixed in with some veterans. Lauzon, Macdonald and Leben fights are usually awesome.

I'm really looking forward to the December 8th card. I don't like Diaz either but he's tough, should be a great fight. That Shogun vs Gustaffson fight will be interesting to watch, the winner SHOULD be next in line for Jones, after machida. But Dana's a d**k. BJ is favorite fighter ever so I'm excited to see him back, what could have been if he took training seriously. Extremely tough fight back though Rory is probably the future at 170. I like Swick too, hope he can get back to where he was. This card is on Fox too, so even better.

Carwin and Big Country should be a fun slug fest.

I can't wait till Overeem fights the JDS vs Cain winner.

Love him or hate him, Sonnen comes to fight. I don't care one way or another, but I think he is being rewarded for:

A) Stepping up to fight Jones on short notice at UFC 151 when other "deserving" fighters turned down the title shot

B) Being able to sell a PPV.

I think Jones should handle Sonnen rather easily, but make no mistake, Sonnen is no scrub.

Sonnen is horribly overrated 6-5 in the UFC backs that statement. And honestly if the refs were not idiots, he'd be 5-6. Bisping won their fight, and I hate Bisping. The only thing Chael has done to get a title shot is talk. His fights are not exciting, he doesn't finish people, he lays and prays. Not saying he's a scrub no UFC fighter is a scrub, but he's definitely not elite either. He would get beat by 90% of the lhw's. The fact that he is getting a title shot is a joke.

IMO, if you are a fighter, you should call out the champion. You can't blame Sonnen for taking the title fight, regardless of the circumstances. If the other fighters are upset, then maybe they should have stepped up and offered to fight Jones at UFC 151 when their company needed them. Only one man did, and I think that's one of the reasons why he is being rewarded.
