I didn't even see Carwin retired until now in this thread.

Ugh... well, UFC took a blow in my mind lol. Fighters that finish their opponents 100% of the time unless they're on the losing end are a great draw for UFC. Carwin is such a beast and quite frankly, should have gotten the W against Lesnar. Sure, Lesnar came back to win after making it out of the round but there are many stoppages where the fighter could come back if given another round to do so after recovering. Lesnar wasn't getting out of Carwin's beating without the round ending and Carwin beat him long enough that it warranted a stoppage imo. But, the ref didn't stop it and Carwin gassed himself. Carwin is a beast.

That leaves Shogun and he hasn't been the same since his injury either.

A Jones vs Silva fight would be absolutely epic...............tough to predict who would win, I would say Jones, but Silva is just the best ever

Far more fights are stopped before they should be stopped and it's not even close.

Just throwing that out there.

Not disagreeing.

I just thought Lesnar was taking a beating longer than just about any fight that's ever been stopped that I've seen. He was absolutely defenseless and getting pulverized. And if I recall, he kind of tried rebounding to get up but then Carwin clocked him with another one and he went back down. He was in a ball and wasn't defending himself while one of the heaviest handed hitters were unloading on him. As long as stoppages exist, that should have been one imo.
