UGA continuously makes me chuckle

You've lived in Atlanta your entire life and other Georgians are "they"?!?! Really?!?!? Then why don't you move to TN, if the former is really true?!?!

Then why don't you move on to a dawg board so we don't have to read your drivel.

Really? Come on guys. How does a Mod allow this pointless convo to last this long.

Talk football, leave all that personal crap away.

Totally agree. Having said that what is going on with Caleb King, officially? I've seen a few ideas on whats going on with him on here but just wanted to know officially from someone that seems to be in the know whats going on.

Yea? I have a friend who has a friend who has a chimp that got into UT without having ever having been potty trained. See how that works?

I don't care if you believe me or not. I have 3 friends who are currently enrolled in school there and 2 friends that went to school there and transferred. They all tell me how easy it is. The friend with a 1.9 now has a 2.8 from just a full year there. I can tell you he's not the brightest crayon in the box either.

I know no fewer than 50 people that go to UGA. They range from the incredibly dumb 'how did you even graduate high school' to the unbelievably smart, just like any other college. This isn't like comparing Yale to Pellissippi St Community College. Our schools are very similar. So take your holier than thou smug attitude and your prized #50something scholastic trophy and kindly g t f o.

I honestly think Caleb will be back for his last season. This is his last year and it does not make sense for him to transfer now. He was suspended for last years bowl game due to academics, the thing about it is that it was tutoring sessions that he missed, he had the grades required by the NCAA. Caleb has a hard time making it to his appointments.

Caleb is not the type of kid that is a walking timebomb, the kid is just lazy. The staff is knocking that kind of attitude from the entire team right now. Some people are buying into it and others are having a hard time making the new adjustments. Prime example is Washaun Ealey, the staff is working his tail off and Ealey seems to not want to works as hard as some of the other players. Caleb never gives us trouble like that, but he has to have a great offseason or else he will be buried in the depth chart.

A bit off topic, but how many noon games did UGA have last year? Seemed like an awful lot.

6.

That comes from being a team ESPN or CBS isn't really interested in having in premium time slots. UT fans should know; we played 5 of them, including the game against UGa.

Thanks. I thought it was something like that. I hate noon games.

Keep fielding teams that compete for the conference title and you won't have to worry about them. SC played 3 this year--UT, UGa, and Troy.

Posting that last sentence made me feel worse about pretty much everything.

We were lucky not have noon games with Furman and Clemson. I must say, ESPN has been very kind to us since we acquired SOS. I believe we begin the season on Thursday yet again this year.

However, I hope our game with UT this year is at noon. I want no part of coming to Neyland at night. I'm still having nightmares about 2009.

JMO, but it seems like there is absolutely no atmosphere for noon games. It could just be me, though.

My experience with UGA fans is this...they're loud before the game and quiet afterwards.

They are no worse than my nightmares about the night game in Neyland in '05.

I'm still wondering how we won that game. We tried every way in the world to lose. The 07 game is prob my most hurtful memory in the last few years.

UGA is already a laughing stock. Never has a team anywhere thought more of themselves for doing less. UGA, its fans and anything/anyone associated with UGA is an embarrassment to the human race. God I hate Georgia.

I do hope Richt stays though, he's one of the biggest laughing stocks in college ball right now. Maybe if Richt spent half as much time coaching as he does in movies/commercials UGA would win more than 6 games.

What you're saying is not true. I know several kids who have in the 3.8 area GPA who didn't get admitted. I know for a fact that one kid in my neighborhood had a 4.0 and didn't get in on the first round. The HOPE scholarship in GA has made UGA one of the toughest schools in the SE to get into. Anyone who lives in and around GA knows this. My son had a 3.8 and applied and didn't get in on the first round. So when you tell me that your cousin's friends nephew got in with a 1.9, I know that is not true, or even close. Do the research for yourself if you don't believe me.

Also, some of you claim that UGA and UT are similar academically, just from your judgement. Check out lists for best colleges in the US. Forbes has a list of all colleges, public and private. UGA is listed at 150th and UT is 453rd. You've already seen the US News rankings.

You can compare athletics. But UGA and UT are nowhere silimar in academics. And I can back that up with fact and not just "I know someone............"
