UK is a dangerous game.

Doubters & worriers, I ask this…if the teams were equal (and they’re not, not even close) and it came down to coaching, would you still be worried?

I thought not.

The angry elf in blue is not qualified to carry Heupel’s briefcase. That will be demonstrated Saturday night.

Remember, all of UK’s advantage walked out the door when we fired PruittJonesDooley.

TN should win this game but we aren't going to blow them out. They ran through us like Taco Bell after a night of drinking last year. I have no reason to believe that this year will be any different. Both teams are better this year than last year. I think we have improved more than them. We will likely score at will against them. but their Offense is going to treat us just like everyone else. We will give up a ton of points to them. I see 45-38 Vols.
Kentucky was much better in 2021 much better offense, defense and most of all on offensive line.

They are a ranked team with pretty good defense and a good offense with Levis. They also have a bye week before TN week. They just beat a ranked Miss State team too. It would be easy for this team to look ahead to UGA and lay an egg against UK.

Just my thoughts.

Hahahaah

They have an pretty good defense with them doing really good in some categories but their offense is actually not good at all. Yes, the quarterback is good, but their line and other aspects of their offense are not. They have a bye, yes, but we played UT Martin. We haven't seen Josh Heupel put our guys into any games where they were not prepared by game day. All of this is to say, I don't think they can score very many points against us at all. Move the ball some probably, but Levis is gonna be harassed all night. They will probably keep the points we score under our 50.1 ppg, maybe even 40, but it won't be enough.

Heuple doesn’t over look games… Our DL will dominate UKs OL… Rodriguez will be minimized and Levis will be under pressure all night… UT steam rolls UK by at least 3 tds get that bvs out your system… listen to heup they prepare the same way no matter the opponent and the team is 100% bought in… enjoy the ride.

This. I agree.

I don't see how this team could overlook anybody. They beat UF and Bama for the first time in these kid's careers and they know the history. They get up for everybody and Kentucky was the only good team they had ever beaten until this year. I'm sure it's a very big game to them.

I agree. I actually a little more worried about SCAR than Kentucky, and I'm not really worried about SCAR.

Eventually, the Vols are going to be on the wrong side of one of these final possession games. Saturday vs UK looks to be another one of those. I know that will trigger some that think Vols are unbeatable.
Bruh...did you even watch 2021 football season??🙄. That's all they did (except Kentucky) was lose the close games.

This ain't 2021...

And this game will NEVER....EVER be in doubt

You are absolutely silly, for even suggesting this nonsense.

Nope. I'll cheer for the Vols as always - win or lose. When the Vols don't meet your expectations, hope you stick around.
OR...how about YOU level up to the reality that the Tennessee Volunteers are one of the best IF NOT, the best college football team in America? And you expecting them to go to the 4th qtr with Kentucky??? You sound like a damn fool!!

Sitting here waiting on them to lose- just so you can say " I still luv my vawls!🤪.

Get that weaksheet out of here!!

Kentucky’s offensive game plan is what scares me the most about this game.

Think of death by 1000 paper cuts. They may literally have zero explosive plays, but if they manage 3-4 yards a pop with Rodriguez, move the chains, and sustain 8-9 minute drives, that does not bode very well for us. Our offense can’t do anything if they are sitting on the bench.

The X factor in this game is going to be Tennessee’s red zone defense imho.

I’m assuming This game is going to be a lot closer than a lot of people (at least I’ve seen on the board) think.

Dangerous only to UK fans who have convinced themselves they have any kind of shot.

I mean good lord UK fans are whining on CatsIllustrated that our offense is "cheating". Are they 5 years old?

If this is what they plan to do then they have to get touchdowns on every drive to keep up. I think our rush defense can get us one or two stops. Also levis has to throw no interceptions. Also they have to have no sacks or TFLs given up. I just don’t see them being able to do this on offense.

I had a neighbor that had a Jack Russell Terrier and 2 boxers. Those boxers were trained well and could be mean if they needed two. That little Jack Russell would go up to those big dogs and bark and bark. He kept trying to mix it up with them but they ignored him. He wasn’t a threat and not worth their time, even if he tried to bark and intimidate. UK is a Jack Russell terrier. Big bark, no threat. Let them bark.

Their opponents' ranks nationally in total O:

Miami 121
UF 43
NIU 69
OM- 12
USCe 81
MSU- 62

Ole Miss is the only decent O they've played. They beat UK and put up 399 yds. They've seen nothing like what they're going to face this Saturday. What they saw last year... was nothing compared to what they are about to face. I HOPE their coaches and players make the mistake of looking at last year to gauge this year's O.

Unless UT hands them the game, I personally think that UT's D will shut down the run game and pressure Levis mercilessly. They will force mistakes.

I also think there's at least the possibility that people come away saying, "wow" about UT's secondary in coverage so long as they're healthy at CB. UT put in a lot of work with the young guys last week. Though Bama was a huge challenge the DB's did some good things in that game. They made it hard on Young by giving him tight windows. UK has neither the QB nor the WR's to do what Bama did.

I agree 100%. They are definitely a dangerous team, even more now that they are healthy. I hope our injured secondary guys return and Ced. Plus there's the potential worry about a look ahead to GA next week. I'm not sure we score 40 on their D.

Did you miss the game last year? We scored 45 points and had the ball 13 minutes.

Our scoring drives against Alabama

1:58, 1:16, 1:02, 1:01, 55 seconds, 50 seconds, 4:23, and 15 seconds.
