UNC is honoring Coach K's 1000 victories tonight in a pre-game ceremony where he will be presented a plaque. I am not making this up, this is actually happening. I'm pretty sure this was Roy's idea to reciprocate for the tribute to Dean at Cameron.

I hope the Smith Center crowd boos the hell out of K during the presentation.

Sounds pretty damn stupid, in my opinion. A ceremony for Dean should have been given freely. Which, perhaps it was, and Roy is just being overzealous about making up for it. Stupid, any way you cut it.

Now, when K passes away, the next Duke game at Carolina, I would hope our coach and school offer a ceremony in his memory before the game as well.

Yeah. It's all a little weird to me. I do think it's a good will gesture in return for the moment of silence for Dean at Cameron. I don't want booing because that's a little classless, given the probable circumstances behind it, so I'm hoping for a mass exodus to the restrooms or just a sit on your hands type response.

I love Singler's look on that last video. You can tell he was even thinking out loud how big of a ***** he looked like but how grateful he was for the refs to bail him out.

Of course we don't know the full story, but it really makes me sad that ESPN has done away with Dickie V for the prime games this past year. I know the guy is getting old and losing a bit of his touch, but come on!

What was wrong with the Bilas/Vitale color duo? If we needed astute commentary, Bilas could provide it. If we needed pure excitement and fun, Vitale could provide it.

I just don't get it.

What an amazing thing: players from a state playing for that state's team. UNC, you're amazing.

Duke, not so much. It's still a wonder how you didn't become the state university of New Jersey.

I'll give you this, you don't flop around like a bunch of sardines like you typically do.

You may make it past the first round of the NCAA this year.

This team lacks awareness on far too many occasions. Plenty good enough to play with and/or beat any team in the country. Unfortunately, they also spend some amount of time most every game beating themselves.
