My Final Four is still in order:

Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, and NC State.

I say NC State only because my cousins went to NC State, think it's the greatest university in history, and all have horseshoes stuffed up their asses. Luckiest damn family I've ever seen in my life.

Translation: NC State makes the Final Four.

Yes, as a matter of fact I do, Yankee.

A ridiculous 3-point shooting night?

What in the hell are you talking about?

Well, I'll give you this much: you're not a NC State fan, who lives and dies as UNC goes. At least you have a life, albeit, a very New Jersey one.

They were 8-of-11 from 3 until the last couple of misses.

So you think I'm from New Jersey and went from there to Duke, but somehow I'm a Tennessee fan? Lol

I'll give you this much: you're at least from Durham.

I can't figure any other reason why any self-respecting North Carolinian would ever pull for a program that has absolutely nothing to do with the state of North Carolina other than that it is based in North Carolina.

So, you gonna beat Utah?

Honestly, I'll be pulling for Utah, because, quite frankly, the Mormon kid that appoached my door the other day here in Knoxville has more to do with North Carolina than Duke does.

Maybe because it's my alma mater? Haha. I'm from Nashville.

#6 in Coaches Poll

Starting Lineup (My Prediction):
Marcus Paige PG
Theo Pinson SG
JP Tokoto F
Brice Johnson F
Kennedy Meeks C

At least I think that would be the most effective lineup, possibly substituting Joel Berry for Pinson, or even Justin Jackson for Pinson to provide a bigger set.

My predictions for:
Regular season: 26 wins
ACC Finish: 2nd
ACC Tournament: Runner-up
NCAA Tournament: Elite 8

Oh, and this:

North Carolina investigation says advisers pushed sham classes - ESPN

Here's hoping for a good season of basketball and few sanctions!

While admittedly off, I wasn't that far off.

Haha, I'm thankful I'm not an embodiment of the stereotype (which, if you include NY, is very very accurate).

Ah, so you admit it!

Well, we'll let you pass at least.

How do you think you all do tomorrow?

I feel like I may have already asked this but then added a drunken insult immediately.

This time is for reals though. How do you all think you fare against Utah?

This Xavier-Arizona game is almost like a carbon copy of the UNC-Wisconsin game. Arizona should pull away late.

It was a fitting end. Like so many other games this season, we were in a great position to win and forgot how to play basketball for 2-3 minutes. And like so many other times this year, it cost us a game and, in this instance, a season.

Thinking about next year, Roy's MO tends to be that his teams make it one, maybe two, rounds further when returning most of the contributors. So, I expect a run to the elite 8 next year...maybe make the final 4. But nothing further than that, unless one of our coaches can teach these guys how to go after a defensive rebound with the same voracity with which they go after offensive ones. I just can't see this team turning into a national championship front-runner solely based on passage of time. Hope I'm wrong, though! :)

UNC loses no one. Everyone should come back and they will an even more dangerous team if they can put it together.

Their combination of a very good coach, a star player in Wright and a big that can stand up to Jah (Poeltl) scares me a little. I think we'll win, but not easily.

I'm not sold on that. Some draft boards have Brice Johnson going anywhere from 20-25 range. He probably won't, but that would be a huge loss. Amazing how Roy always gets his guys to stick around for so long.
