Let the Dukies come in, and the next thing you know they'll be wanting to rename your state, "New New Jersey."

Personally I don't mind, although I think the "Part Deux" part may need changing as well since it seems to imply an actual meeting between the two rather than a season thread.

Look, the kids that matriculate at Duke University from New Canaan, Ct., or Hoboken are well rounded, blue collar, young individuals that are interested in getting a wonderful education and in no way are interested in bringing their yankee way of life to the jewel of the Piedmont, Durham, NC. I mean they don't do that much blow in Shooters on Saturday nights.

People and their stereotypes. SMFH.


EDIT: Breaking, Rasheed Sulaimon was dismissed from the Duke team today.

UNC may very well lose today, but this team really seems to have turned a corner. I don't think this is the same team that played Butler and Iowa, for instance.

Nice to see you've stepped back from the ledge. This is a really good team. Kenpom and RPI/BPI give them much more respect than the polls do. They have their flaws, and they get careless with the ball on occasion, but they can play with any team in the country.

I don't disagree. I think I just got really (and perhaps too) pissed off after the loss to Iowa at home. Iowa is a good team, but my god.

Anyhow, I don't think this is the same team that lost to them, despite what happens today.

Good win for Louisville. Shouldn't have even sniffed it today, but, then again, the same could be said for UNC's win against Lville earlier this year.

The polls will piss me off come Monday. Carolina will drop at least three spots, even though this was a road game in which Louisville was favored.

Neither are Kentucky fans. He's been the only person who's voted Virginia #1 for the last several weeks. Now he will switch his vote to Duke (which is where he earned his degree).

With Duke's win vs GT tonight K passes Dean as the ACC's all time wins leader. Only fitting for those 2 at the top.

despite our rivalry, I can't hate on Dean Smith too much. RIP to a great man and leader. Here's to a happier life free of pain and confusion. Prayers and condolences to all of his friends, family and Carolina Nation as a whole.

How have I never seen these theads?!? I'll be sure to come cuss and discuss some Tar Heel basketball with you folks.

Sure is sad about Coach Smith...although it's been inevitable for a while. I was just thinking within the last week that he probably couldn't make it much longer.
