We pulled that one out of our rectums. LVille dominated us the entire second half.

After we finish this year by losing in the round of 32, I think we'll have one more good year left. One more year that we may be capable of going to the Final Four.

After that, you can forget about it.

You remember that 8-20 season? Get used to it.

Quite frankly, I think this team is worse than last year's, which makes no sense whatsoever.

You guys had a great visiting group today and won an incredible game in a better than wine and cheese atmosphere. All is well. But you're right, this team isn't as good as last year.

They are better than last year.. Have no idea how you can say they aren't.. The 3 freshman will keep improving. ACC is gonna be rough this year.

Dook is getting ran out of Raleigh 😄

I don't think they are yet. Duke definitely got beat down. I don't understand how State plays out their ass versus Duke and then completely falls apart versus UNC.

I don't know that "falls apart" quite explains the latest UNC v. State installment, but what do you make of the recent Duke performances?

I only ask this since the UNC thread here, given the posters on this board, basically acts as a de facto Duke and UNC thread.

State definitely didn't fall apart, but it always seems like State plays great vs Duke at PNC and Roy owns State. I'm not sure what to make of what's happening to Duke right now, other Winslow and Tyus Jones are not playing to the level that they were early on. I expect more of the same today vs Louisville. I hope I'm wrong.

If anyone threatened to fall apart in that game, it was UNC. We should have beaten them by double digits, quite frankly.

You all look like you're doing very well at the half.

I'm not sure what is more shocking, Duke losing back to back games vs unranked conference opponents or Duke playing 2-3 most of the game.

What a huge win for Duke on the road today. That was a must win with road games against St Johns, UVA and Notre Dame in the next week and a half.

It was a game that a Kentucky fan struggled picking which team to root for.

Funny you should say that, because that's what I root for when Kentucky and Duke play one another. Duke and State too.

Actually, while I pull for neither Duke nor State when they play one another, I at least respect Duke. I have no respect for State. That's the lousiest fan base in sports, outside of Alabama, as far as I'm concerned. They couldn't care less how well they do, just as long as you lose.

This is killing them in recruiting, at least in football. Which to me is hilarious. Bball they are locking up some big in state prospects.

You being serious or joking? I don't keep up with recruiting in general like I used to, but last I saw, UNC currently only has the 90-something bball recruit in the nation for 2015 and a very good 5 star recruit (but for 2017, and a relative of Raymond Felton). This is worse recruiting than Bill Gutheridge.

I just know that there were 3 headliners at the Louisville game the other day and all of my Duke and UNC friends who follow recruiting said that UNC is in good position to land big time guys.
