Unless they land the number 2 guy this year (can't remember his name and don't feel like looking), then those guys will have to wait. Definitely not in this year's class.

I think what you're probably referring to, RDU, is the 2016 class, from which North Carolina native recruits alone could probably win a championship (of course none of them will stay that long). It's a very exceptional class. I think UNC has been in the lead for most of them, but that could all immediately go awry once sanctions come down.

Yeah it's definitely one of the toughest 3 game stretches anyone in the country will play this season. I'll be interested to see if K stays in that 2-3 very much tonight with all of those shooters ND has. It wouldn't surprise me if Duke lost both tonight and Saturday at UVA. I think Saturday especially will be a slugfest. I just hope that those young guys aren't too drained after everything with the 1000 w's for K and all that. I say Duke wins tonight and loses Saturday.

Tar Heels are still in on some big names this class. I don't know what the exact interest level is, or how many spots they'll have, but Jaylen Brown, Ivan Rabb, and Stephen Zimmerman, maybe even Diamond Stone, are all still considering UNC IIRC. Probably others, as well. Looking good with Harry Giles for 16 also.

Free throw shooting will be this Duke teams undoing. They are so good, but Winslow, Jefferson and Ohkafor ft shooting will ultimately kill this team. Great game by Notre Dame, but Duke lost it on the stripe. Duke will be .500 late Saturday and they are the best team in the ACC.

Duke was bounced out in the first round of the tourney last year. People can hate UNC all they want but in the past 10 years they have 2 titles where as Duke has 1. End of story.

If Kendall Marshall didn't get injured during the tourney run they made a couple of years ago they probably would have had another one at UNC. All of the great UNC teams had great PG play.

I don't see how you can say "Duke is the best team in the ACC" with a straight face when they may not even be the third best team in the ACC right now. Potentially the best? I'll give you that, but after their hot start, that haven't looked so good in January. Has someone already flipped their calendar to March? ;)

They have the most talented player, but I don't see how you can say best team... Their guards are small and can't guard anyone, and Tyus is as overrated as Ennis from Cuse last year... IMO

I'll say that I was not in a great mood when I said Duke was the best team last night, I can't claim that when they will probably be .500 after Saturday night. However, Tyus Jones can play, I don't think he is overrated at all.

I think Winslow is really banged up right now with shoulder and rib injuries, that's why his production has dropped the way that it has.

I've read that about Winslow... That he is hurt

Idk, I just don't see it with Tyus right now. Good Passer, and can knock down an open shot,but that's about it. Maybe that's what Duke fans thought of Paige as a freshman, even though he wasn't a 5 star like Jones...

I guess you and I will agree to disagree about Jones, I think he has completely lived up to his 5 star rating. I think he is much better than Paige was as a freshman.
