On a related note, Roy might be playing the Blue squad before this game's over if the refs keep it up. To be fair, they've called some phantoms on FSU as well.

Good win. Very bad officiating. Michael Ojo for FSU is one of the largest human beings I've ever seen. And congratulations to Roy Williams for his 300th win at UNC.

Be careful what you wish for. I imagine a similar outcome to Bart Scot's wish.We will see though. Good win for the Heels tonight. 3 days mother****ers.

ESPN keeps promoting the game by showing Austin Rivers' game winning shot at Chapel Hill two years ago. And then showing the dumb faces of the UNC student body. Okay, fair enough, but to compliment this I wish they'd show McAdoo's dunkfest in Hansbrough Indoor a month later with all the Duke students looking on completely dumbfounded. Would only be fair.

ESPN should replay the Jeff Capel half court bank shot at the buzzer, then not remind us UNC wound up winning in overtime.

I'm sure we'll see it at least once Thursday night. To be fair though, the Stackhouse reverse jam from that same game does make it into quite a few highlights as well.

I'm waiting for highlights of the duke/UNC game where the asteroid wins.

Only kidding of course. I think the capel half court shot was my favorite game all time of the series.

They had some real battles back in the early '90s with Hurley/Hill/Laetner and Montross/Lynch and then Stackhouse/Wallace. The bloodied Montross game stands out. Hansbrough as a freshman ruining Senior Night in Cameron was another fave of mine. Vince Carter's missed alley-oop would have brought the house down.

Yeah, the Hansbrough freshman win in Durham was my second favorite. I'll never forget his three pointer in the waning minutes and him acting like a giddy schoolboy immediately after the win. My all-time favorite was 2005 in Chapel Hill though. The crowd reaction after Marvin's putback "and one" was the loudest I think I've ever heard any college arena. I remember the shot clock icon at the bottom of the screen was shaking.

There have been a lot of good battles. I think my favorite is probably when Serge Zwikker and Greg Newton would go at it. Totally worth the price of admission.
