As long as Kane doesn't go all Bryce Cotton on them, I think the Heels will win this one. Losing Niang (sp) is a big blow to a team that isn't deep, and doesn't have anyone over six foot seven.. Need to pound the paint early and often

You and I both know well that someone nearly always has a career (or near career) night against us. Question is if we will have enough ammo to win the battle.

Brice went down with 15 mins left in the first, so I guess this has been an honest game all along now (given Niang's injury). Our 2nd or 3rd best player for their 2nd or 3rd best player. ISU looking like it will have a shooting advantage. Hopefully Paige and one of McAdoo/Meeks can step up. No Johnson to rely upon for automatic offense now.

It's apparent now that Kane is our customer for "Career Game" against Carolina. Hopefully we can withstand the storm. Paige and McAdoo are going to have to come up big.

I can honestly say that I've never seen a game end that way. It seemed to me that there was still time on the clock, but what the hell do I know.

Anyhow, good win for ISU.

And this game is just one more example (out of many) how the 3 point shot has absolutely revolutionized the game. Having a size advantage no longer means that much.

For it to be an advantage, you have to take advantage of your "size advantage". They should have put that game away once they were up 8.

It's shocking that was going on at UNC-Chapel Hill and for how rampant the fraud was as well as how long it apparently persisted. If you take a look at what the North Carolina sports message boards have to say on the subject you really do see them for the phonies they are. They just insult Mary Willingham and the media outlets such as HBO that are detailing the case. It reminds me of how Georgia treated Jan Kemp in the '80's.

If there is anything that really bothers me about UNC, it is that a majority who support the university think they are above all of this, and are victims of some sort of witch hunt. UNC has always been really good at playing the victim and the hypothetical "what if" game. The reality is that this is all self inflicted, from Marvin Austin to PJ Hairston, when you enroll morons with low character qualities this is what happens. I'm not suggesting that these environments do not exist at schools all over the country, but I will say the arrogance and the pretentious nature of the "Carolina Way" needs to show some humility because no one is buying the holier than thou shtick anymore. In the words of Vince Carter "It's over".

Btw this is not in any way directed at any poster on this board.

McDonalds all American game is tonight on espn.

Joel Berry, Theo Pinson, and Justin Jackson are all playing. 3 key pieces to a team that I think will be really good next year.

To me, Jackson seems good enough to start as a freshman. That would probably mean Berry AND Britt coming off the bench, though, so maybe not.

No doubt about it, UNC is a top 5 squad next year. They really lucked out with McAdoo losing millions after his freshman year and coming back all these years. He's definitely pre-season All Acc next year. Paige will be POY. UNC will have that perfect combo next year to make a run. Pisses me off.

Duke has less returning, but more coming in. Duke-UNC games next year should be epic
