i would love to see the tan pants (like the Steelers throwback) with an old school style orange top. I've seen the picture with all of our past uniforms and there were several years that we wore a tan colored pant. So..

Tan pants, no logo or stripes
Orange jersey made to look vintage
White helmet with original power T.

Santa...this is all I want.

I'm with Ya. Strategically do it one game a year including helmets to match(with the T of course). But I always look at those games with the grey in disdain. We play like crap in those for some reason. I am always a bit nervous when we try to do the change of uniforms in a big game, as if that fires up the team more. It sometimes can be an added distraction.imo. But if the kids want that sort of thing once a year let em have it. But I'd rather it be vs a team like utah st or sec foe like ark or ky, not the Bamas and fla's. But I am a dinosaur.

I think something like this is a good compromise between keeping the white helmet and tying the helmet on with the smokey grays.

Thats actually a pretty good concept! Most of the designs I try don't turn out nearly that well, I bet the guy that criticized it couldn't do it half as well as you did.

while we're at it, might as well just go with brown to throwback to the old leather helmets..

Tennessee switches from adidas to NIKE on July 1, 2015. The orange shade used in uniforms and gear figures to be different from the one adidas used, possibly having slightly less yellow in the base color. Also, logos whose rights were owned by NIKE and not allowed for be used by adidas figure to make their way down from the attic, including the Volunteer with the coonskin hat.

I'm happiest about the "less yellow" in the orange color itself...those last years under Dooley, our jersey's would look like faded yellow at certain angles.

We are using less yellow this year. If they change it again we will look like Clemson.
