Very glad to hear we will be transitioning back to the traditional look of the double stripe pants, regardless of this year or next. Soon all of the Botch Jones contributions will be the past.

The Holloway throwbacks would be fun to wear once a year or so. You think they will get back to orange pants on the road or stay with the white on white?

I couldn’t stand our adidas road jerseys with script Tennessee across the chest, always reminded me of a high school team or Big 12 jerseys.

The Holloway throwbacks would be great again. I’m not opposed to grey facemasks either. I definitely hope we bring back orange pants for rivalry games home and away. Also, I don’t want the black outlines on the road jerseys.

I'd be ok with subtle changes like the gray facemask. Ok without it too. I think my favorite uniform change of the modern era is when we went to the bold white road unis with the black number outlines. They look good being back in practice this year. Just nothing weird, and by weird I mean Nike/Butch weird.

They better get the pant length right. Players wearing pants that don’t cover the knee can be sent to the bench and can’t return until corrected.

Tennessee could wear an orange helmet with a white power T and a white facemask or they could bring back the 1973 helmet that had two stripes on it.

Referring to ToddC38VFL: Sorry not sorry but any implementation of black into the color scheme is ugly. Number outline, cleats, etc. Further, there is a way to keep the classic UT look while not looking completely and horrifyingly outdated.

I guess I'm in the minority but I like the single stripe on the pants with no checkerboard. One stripe on the helmet and two on the pants doesn't match right for me.

Smokey grey number outlines on the aways and a change back to the old block numbers would be good though.

And I like the grey facemasks as well.

It's better to look outdated than grotesque like a lot of college football uniforms like Oregon

From this picture it looks like the helmets were orange with a white stripe down the middle and ear to ear in the late 30's and early 40's
