The orange Power T is pretty much the best logo in sports. I don't know why it is so badass, but it just is visually striking and powerful. Any alternate should not mess with that. I could get behind checkerboarding the orange stripe on the helmet. Maybe with smaller squares.

I know alternate jersey sales bring in money for some programs with tiny stadiums and small fan bases, but we just need to win. Beat Bama and every other kid from Bristol to Memphis will have UT gear under the tree at Christmas.

Still, if we throw on some alternates once a year for a non-conference game, I sure wouldn't lose any sleep over it. And I really like seeing the mock-ups that people post in this thread even if I don't want us to actually wear them. So please keep posting 'em.

orange tinted glasses are probably why you think it is the best.

As long as we don't end up with something that looks like the aluminum foil covered helmet Georgia had in an opener a year or two ago (thinking Boise St game, not sure) I'm fine with changing something once a year. No more than that, though.

I'm all for an alternate once or thrice a year. Id love to see us wear them in the Oregon game. Id like to know if anyone could MAKE A THREAD CONTAINING ONLY THE ALT UNI DESIGNS? Id love to be able to browse all the various designs wo having to read through pages of babble AND I BET FREAK WOULD STICKY IT. Thanks. Go Vols!

I noticed that too. He spoke about the helmet in that design and gave reasoning why it wouldn't work but never said a word about the jersey color. I was going to ask but didn't want to dig and put him in a bad spot.

It is no secret that Terry Fair is a big fan of gray uni's. He has brought it up more than once.

My only comment was that it was the best concept posted here yet. You can read that however you want.

This is honestly the most beautiful alternate ive ever seen. very impressive. classic look with a modern cut and style. i hope the one we use is similar to this. an orange helmet with the power T on one side and numbers on the other would make me lose my mind! lol. fantastic work.
