How many of those 98,000 would have showed up if they knew we were wearing black jerseys? I personally would have not wasted my money on the ticket.

LOL...backed it up with what? Your friends? What you remember? A few other posters agreeing with you? You've come nowhere near demonstrating 90% of the fan base loved the black jerseys, other than simply repeating it over and over.

Here's a fact...if those jerseys were anywhere near as popular as you claim, we'd be wearing them at least once a year. That's not even debatable.

DeerPark has given facts and you simply ignored them because it's not what you wanted to hear. DP actually has what we call "cred".

There are YouTube videos of us taking the field that night and on many other occasions. The crowd sounds average to me. You may have a different opinion.

You've been in this thread for years and get all emotional anytime someone brings up any alt uniform you don't like. Especially when someone mentions black! Which happens all the time! Its sad really, I dont know why youre so emotionally attached.

I don't know why they love black so much but they do. Get over it.

I opened the T that year (my senior year). That crowd was the best that year by a long shot, but was nowhere near 2006 Cal, Florida, LSU. Nor 2007 USC, Alabama, and Georgia. Even the 2008 UK game rivaled the black jerseys. So, even despite being on the "downhill spiral" that people claimed Fulmer was on, he had greater crowd noise at the opening than the black jerseys.

Maybe he actually bases his posts on REAL facts, not opinions. He knows what goes on in there, for instance why UT will not switch to Nike despite the love of it on this board. He knows more than you do. And it tears you up since you now have to resort to calling people names and all. Sad really on your part.

Yes, I know, I never compared crowds. Just pointed out the facts you just mentioned about what the crowd reacted favorably to.

Plus you further cement how clueless you are, DP's reputation around here is completely solid. He doesn't get emotional, he simply refutes guys like you and states facts.

If you want to take a poll so bad, why don't you ask which one of you has more "cred"?

Though I am a huge packers fan, on throwback week, I just have a hard time watching them in that uniform. Whoever the moron was that got the bright idea for throwback uniforms should have his home infested with swarms of locust.
