No, you could tell how much people liked the black jerseys because they were going crazy and cheering as the team took the field. As opposed to the boos and hisses their entrance is typically greeted with.

His checkerboard stripe on a few of his designs was decent, but that was about it. Even then, the checkerboard is not something that would translate to a uni like people seem to think it would. Less is more when it comes to that.

It seems to me a lot of his designs would not translate to real life very well.

I couldn't edit out the ones that probably wouldn't fly. There are about 10 that would because they are orange and white with a T. I know some of the symbols like the "vols" symbol isn't used on helmets now, but I think a one off could be possible. There were lots with just T with different color schemes though.

Many times, what's your problem? When they came out to warm up the crowd half booed because they had heard the rumors. Then when they came out in black it was louder than normal because of the uniform. I know the crowd is always hype when the T opens dumb ass.

I can immediately think of 20 games I've attended that were head and shoulders louder than that game. For starters, pretty much any game that didn't have 5-10k empty seats and was played in the piss-pouring rain. Anyone who has ever REALLY been there when that stadium rocking simply laughs at the notion that there was anything special about the crowd that night, for any reason.

Still doesn't change what the crowd reacted to. I didnt say it was the loudest crowd of all time, im talking about the reaction to the jerseys. I don't know why the other 2 guys feelings are so hurt. This all started because they said they don't like the black or alt white/orange uniforms and many said they hate the tan. Different opinions, but I'll be more sensitive to their feelings next time.

It's not even really about that. They are missing the point. Nobody is talking about how loud or hype the crowd was compared to other crowds. I was talking about the specific reaction to the black jerseys that night that had been rumored. What's funny is black isn't my favorite, it's way better than tan though. If they don't like the orange and white concepts they need a new team. Maybe find a tan one.

The crowd was excited about the black jerseys. You could see students jumping and pointing, there were more people taking pics in my section than normal. (I have had my season tickets for more than 30 years).

Even if everyone was not happy with the black jerseys, everyone was surprised that we changed after warm-ups.

Again..."half the crowd", you're making all this up. Half the crowd most certainly did NOT boo.

And if you know, then why are you making it sound like there was some other-wordly reaction to the uniforms. The crowd cheered, I don't doubt they were surprised, but you act like EVERYONE and their brother loved the uniforms, and that's simply a made up fact.

At BEST the reaction to the black jerseys was 50/50, hardly the "vast majority" bullcrap you're making up.

Good lord learn to read! I said the crowd half booed.... Not half the crowd booed! Meaning they were expecting something and were disappointed, then specifically responded to the jerseys. I'm sorry this hurts your feelings so bad. Those are facts whether you like it or not. It's more like a 90/10 split that liked it, especially among the younger crowd. Venture out into the world and see others opinions instead of just staying in the basement and believing you know what your talking about. It is a FACT, by far, that most loved the alt black and or the alt white/orange you two hate. Many many many recruits favorited those helmets and uniforms.... the students, fanbase,and especially the recruits. Meanwhile not a single pic of some gay tan BS. That's why dipsh!t had to draw up his own ugly pic. That's the facts buddy boy!

If anyone "booed", it was such a small minority it didn't register.

And no, you're simply making up the 90/10 split. It's not a fact, no matter how many times you claim it is. You have absolutely NO proof of this other than what you perceive. You're pulling the "many" recruits thing out of your rear end as well.

Those first two jersey ideas are hideous, but i do like the orange helment. Surely there are more photoshopped pics of those somewhere
