Understand some of us love uniform discussion and some of us design them. If you don't like that we talk about it and enjoy doing so, don't come to the message board. You're not better than us when you make fun of it. Yes I care about the product in the field. And the wins and losses are all that matters, but to me, this adds another dimension of the fun of being a fan of the Vols

Are we talking Tennessee all the way across the chest or just a few inches, similar to the size of LSU on their unis?

if you are referring to my comment, i wasnt making fun of this thread. i frequent it. the jumbotron thread was similar in that for a long time details trickled out as well as progress photos and many of us flocked to the thread daily to see if any new photos had been posted. a member of the construction crew used to post some awesome photos on here.

I just hope that these changes dont look tacky/out of place....mainly tennessee across the front has me kinda skeptical. I get that we are the state institution but idk, I just hope that they didnt make the uni look.....well.....dumb.

Completely disagree and think it will look sharp! Butch Jones does nothing without careful consideration and planning about our traditions and history and I have no doubt that applies to any uniform changes as well.

We have one of the most recognizable uniforms in all of sports. It's classic, sharp and instantly recognized.
I see no reason in making design changes to the uniform.

So Butch is incapable of getting one wrong from time to time? Just because careful consideration and planning are put into something, doesn't mean it can't still suck. If it looks like Cinncy's jersey, it will look very MAC'ish. If it looks like Kentucky's jersey, it will look like a high school jersey. Just my opinion.

I suppose I'll reserve judgment until i see a picture- it's just a jersey. But on the surface, I'm against it.

Oregons uniforms are more recognized than ours.

It's not like we are changing our colors to plaid.

What about our current uniforms are great? (That won't be in our new ones)
