Waiting for more college guys to go while searching for Mariners/Rockies tickets for 7/21
Day game. $1 hot dogs. Temps likely in 90s though

I’ve read in a few places where there are questions about his game translating to the MLB level. Plus I think his age is a question too. I believe he is nearly 25 years old already. He will still go pretty high I believe

Wasn't he SEC Pitcher of the Year? Van Horn blew the season by using him as a starter in their swan song, but Kopps came through. Van Horn is a jerk.

Yeah, and he earned it, but, even so, his leverage is gone, and teams know he has no options so he’s gonna slide IMO.

Kopps has ZERO chance of a successful ML career.
Scouts and experts are nearly unanimous on the fact.
Although he throws that ONE pitch very well; unless that one pitch is a knuckle; then you have no chance against professional hitters.

Mariano Rivera says "Hi". He was a mediocre starter, followed by a nice set-up stint...the rest is history. He relied on just ONE pitch.

Mo also threw arguably the best cutter in the history of MLB. Kopps slider is good but I know several scouts and they all have concerns about how that transitions to professional baseball.

We're in the compensatory round - in the homestretch tonight. Still looks promising about Burns.

ETA: Well, it looks like the Draft is done for tonight on ESPN. Switching to the MLB Network.
