Lohry is more of a 2B, but it’s entirely possible that Perry starts at SS, Lohry at 2B, and Moore plays OF.

Jaslove is expected to leave, per McKee. I don’t think another year in the weight room would do him good. He’s had 3 and looks no different than he did in high school.

I think C-Mo is a perfect fit for 2nd base. But, I think Zane's arm at 3rd is questionable. Can't put my finger on it but something about the release. It's just too slow. I wonder what his velo release is. Does Tony try C-Mo at 3rd (in the Fall) and move Zane to 2nd to accommodate that lack of arm speed?

Hadn’t heard that but that wasn’t my point. Every year CTV and Co. get several SS in addition to who they already got, not counting the portal.

I’ve always thought it would be interesting when baseball recruiting takes off to actually rank classes post draft (maybe they do this somewhere). For instance, TN had the 13th best class but only lost one guy where a ton of the classes ahead of them lost as many as 5-6 guys. Would be interesting to see how someone would rank the classes that are actually making it to campus

So was Backus unfortunately. And chambers too. You just never know with juco guys. On the flip side sometimes they are absolute studs (like Liam Spence). But that kid will definitely get his shot in fall ball to try to factor in as a corner OF, Burke’s main backup at 1B mad maybe a DH/PH bat. Helps his case that he’s a RH hitter

I think they will try everyone in a whole bunch of spots. I think Burke ultimately sticks at 1B and Peebles will be your C but other than that, every single position is going to be up for grabs

I never thought about Zane's arm strength. He's been inaccurate on some throws, I've noticed. It takes quick feet and reflexes to play the corners, and that plus speed to play the middle infield positions. I don't know if Zane has the necessary speed. Maybe he does. If not, it'd be better for the team if he was DH, though he might not like that.

I may have missed something, but I don't think PM said anything about our team/players and showboating. Just answered the question specifically about Tre. And not to speak for anyone, but I thought in the past he said our team was over the top in his opinion, to the point that umps may have been instructed to be a little tight with UT to tone it down.
