Urban Meyer Out at Florida (merged)

Good luck to him. I hope he gets to live to a ripe old age with his family. He's a hell of a coach.

And btw, I hope that we beat the Gators like red headed step children for the foreseeable future.

so whats the actual news about his health....it seems to me like he will be fine but can't take the stress from coaching due to his condition.

everyone keeps 'wishing' for a full recovery......doesn't sound like he can recover, but needs to take it easy.

stop acting like the man is going to die in a few weeks.
don't know exactly. people are too quick to go both ways...some immediately believed the decision and felt bad for urban while others made light of it.

i think both of those responses are inappropriate at this point. i'm holding off on a call, but i will say that the timing of the announcement along with its content are pretty strange.

guess that's a reasonable perspective

The fact that he's staying in Gainesville and remaining on the UF payroll is telling also.

Jeremy Fowler says he visited the Hospital at least three times - Chest Pain, Nausea, Heacaches

it's all pretty shocking....

Reignation due to Heart Muscle defect...
Per ESPN

Hope meyer is okay and can over come this.. sad news honestly.. He did have a hand in making the SEC the power it is now..

Does anyone really believe it is health issues? I think he is headed to Jacksonville with Tebow.

UM had a 1st class beat down coming at Neyland in 2010. No wonder his heart is a little weak. To bad he couldn't take it like a man and left a bunch of kids he recruited in the lurch. No Tebow no Strong and now no Meyer. It makes total sense.

as they should be.. Some of these comments aren't necessary.. Especially considering it involves a human life at risk..
