It would be nice, but I'm a little skeptical since it looks like Iran has been selling this attack to its people as as hard revenge. Not sure they'd want it to get out that they warned the US beforehand when and where they would strike.

They arent that stupid. Israel has ZERO mercy. They play for keeps, every single time. They fight like what they are : completely surrounded by those who wish them harm.

Israel will destroy every military installation in Iran if they are attacked. I am sure we would assist in intel, AWACs, logistics, etc if not outright help destroying any air defenses present in Iran.

I would imagine getting planes in the air is probably normal when under attack. Unknown threat get assets in the air. If nothing else it might act as a deterrent.
