Of course I don't know this for sure and neither do you. Point is it appears we showed true restraint from a position of power. Why criticize what played out in the best possible way?

Because it portrays the President in a positive light. These lib idiots were appeased for 8 years and duped into believing the Iran nuke deal and $150 billion in cash was how you should deal with terrorists.

It could have worked out but would have required further checks and threats of force Obama was unwilling to follow through though.

Perhaps I guess. But inspectors are never granted full access to all Iran's Nuclear facilities yet we made the deal anyway. That on the surface is next level stupid. It's reckless.

How much more can true patriots of Trump supporters take from this woman, and the others up there in Washington? How much more can we stand around and continue to watch this lady laugh at our soldiers, the American way, and put us and Israel down like she does. Has she forgotten about Americans that are still behind Trump, and maybe is starting to feel the outrage with this woman and others that is up there and hates America? Shows disrespect to the American people? I’m from the south, and believe me when I say this, that there is uproar now going on with her and these democrats daily. There is outrage, but not to the point yet of 100 million of us marching to Washington to take these people out yet. I think that is about to really go down in Virginia if it isn’t careful, and if it does, will it stop there? I don’t know, but people are getting fed up about all of this going on.

The issue is TIMING. Why now? And if Trump's personal benefit from it was part of the calculus (and it seems some of you concede it may have been), the question is to what extent Trump substituted his personal benefit as a factor offsetting the possible consequences.

That is a perfectly legitimate inquiry. Trump and his administration have chosen to go with the line that an imminent attack was coming that necessitated acting now. Ok, could very well be. I am skeptical, but I have not seen the evidence one way or another. I accept that we might not see that evidence directly for some time to come. But it seems to me that Congressional Dem calls for the Gang of Eight and key House members to be briefed is entirely reasonable.

Maybe you missed that little event at the embassy. Maybe they have intelligence of an imminent attack. Maybe they had opportunity and had been waiting for such. Is that possible in your mind?

The protest got out of hand but I don't remember any shots fired. Trump overreacts because he didn't want another Benghazi so he sends in 3k troops and assassinated an Iranian General. Said he was the mastermind behind the protest/attack without any proof.
