US may have killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani

I've given those responses in this thread already to people I'm willing to discuss this with.

I'm not wasting time regurgitating those replies or entertaining new avenues of watching you play mental gymnastics because I've had discussions with you in the past. I know you're just a shill with no substance, and no interest in objectivity. You are just an innoculated simp. I've little desire to see yet another ardent, unwavering supporter of Trump further masturbate to his actions.

That and the fact the UN has never condemned China for HR violations either.

Their past record with China is poor, and there are a couple of reasons for that, but there are a slew of ongoing cases with them in the past decade.

In my opinion, the unforced errors Trump has made in creating fissures in NATO, are contributing mightily to the uncertainty. The fact our allies weren’t informed before we took this major step is unconscionable, given they are expected to fight alongside us if we are attacked. We also can’t blame them for suspicion about Trump’s allegiances relative to Putin, or to take him or his proxies at their word.

At a dangerous time like this, where we have no idea how many Americans will die or be called to arms, I have very little confidence in our Executive Branch, and think given the history of its conduct, think it’s the correct course of action to demand a level of competence and truthfulness that it has not operated under since its inception.

If there was an imminent attack then I believe this action was justified. Appropriate actions were pitched by intelligence officials and options were given the president. We can only assume what the intelligence was but it's safe to say that what we had witnessed this far was just a small piece of a larger operation by Iranian interests. Our people in the area were already in danger.

Considering he was meeting with a top Hezbollah leader, I’d wager something was brewing.

20 years of Executive-driven military actions and the pattern remains the same - the opposition party and it's followers complain bitterly while the other side defends it. Both parties have played the game.

Yep, the War Powers Act and all subsequent resolutions need to be reexamined.

A generic standing AUMF is and has been the status quo for years. Bush started it, Obama used it, and Trump continues. Disappointed that Mr. Amash doesn't know better.

He's saying Iran was never part of it.

On the other hand it was vague enough to include "terrorist organizations".
