US may have killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani

He's saying Iran was never part of it.

On the other hand it was vague enough to include "terrorist organizations".
It's vague for a reason. Recommended reading for anyone trying to input their 2 cents on this issue.

personally I believe this was the first time he was in the city where one of our embassys was attacked making plans with other fellow bad people to further attack it.

That doesn't explain the decision to take him out now. I mean, according to everyone he has been a major terrorist figure for a long time. I suppose it could be the case that this is the first time we could get to him outside of Iran. I could see wanting to wait until such an opportunity presented itself.

I doubt we will know that for a long time. But I do think it is natural to be skeptical about it, and especially so at the moment.

Always makes sense to be skeptical about this type action.

Right, but Trump withdrew from the deal. And then there have been more attacks and losses of civilian and military, as a result of that decision. This is another escalation of that.

There were attacks and losses prior to withdrawing from the deal. Iran has been acting in bad faith prior to the deal; during the deal and after the deal.

Have you stopped to consider why you can’t muster a response amounting to more than “no, you?” It couldn’t possibly be a lack of wit and substantive comprehension of the topic at hand, right?

Kind of like the Commander in Chief whom you so greatly detest, just without the business acumen or general grandeur.

It’s not as though mainstream, corroborated reporting hasn’t established that:
  • Trump doesn’t read or trust intelligence
  • He has trouble understanding complex issues, or synthesizing facts
  • Discourages opinions that dissent from his own, which are often riddled with inaccuracies and driven by gut instincts
  • Does first what benefits his interests
  • Embraces conspiracies
  • Cows to Putin
  • Strains relations with allies, in particular NATO
  • Lies routinely and encourages others to do the same
That’s all material when he ordered the assassination of another nation’s #2, as well as other top brass.

All Anti-Trump talking points. Absolutely no proof any of that is true other than MSM and Nevertrumper's wanting it to be.

"Bad faith" as confirmed by our allies or Trumps twitter account?

Aren't Putin and Iran allies? He backed them in Syria didn't he?

JMO...

IF we are going to maintain a presence over there (a separate debate) then this guy had American blood on his hands and was a legitimate target. It's hard to imagine he was in Iraq for anything other than nefarious reasons.

Can someone remind me of who ran in 2016 on a platform of getting out of the middle east?

Or many platforms that have all fallen flat. Mexico paying for wall, reducing the deficit instead of growing it by the trillions, health care...etc. We will never leave Saudi Arabia so long as he is in office.
