Brain injuries from blasts are different than a sports concussion. You’re dealing with waves from the blast.

He probably should, but for Trump and his language, there's a good chance of making a bad situation worse. When news gets passed through organizations, it often gets distorted, so it's really hard to tell what Trump was actually told. Like the way names morph in a receiving line.

Also coming from an industry that has had to deal with "reporters" and situations that aren't static, they love to claim cover up, lies, etc when the situation changes or gets clarified. "News" people want the story right away, and often it's simply not available right away when communications are concerned with more important issues like analyzing the event and steps to be taken ... priorities often demand that containing a problem has precedent over everything else.

To be fair he stated publicly what his stance is , “ as long as I am president , Iran will not have nuclear weapons “ . That’s pretty definitive . Not saying it’s right or wrong , just answering what I believe the end game is according to what Trump said . Iran at this point and time is not in a position to make demands or conditions , since Europe is squeezing them now also because of their statement to continue with their nuclear plans .

I do remember reading that a mild single blast can cause Alzheimer type injuries in the brain. I believe that didn’t have to be a direct blast on the person either. The blasts make it more likely to have some brain related illness later, so it does affect the brain in a permanent way but the worse signs may not show up until later.

I don’t believe they’ve really researched explosions in depth until the past decade or so. There’s probably things they haven’t discovered or figured out yet.

I would imagine that would depend on each individual . My grandfather never complained about anything , but never spoke about any of it either . To my knowledge , he told my grandmother when he got back that she could ask him whatever she wanted to know and then that was to be the end of it . He told me once that France had a pretty countryside , and in reference to one of his Purple Hearts .. “ I guess I zigged when I should have zagged “ .
