Where is the war?
Edit: they aren't protesting a war, they are protesting a president because many in this country are little better than petulant children. I didn't see protests when Obama took military action, why?
The Ayatollah and mullahs don’t really give a **** about the cultural heritage sites. Why even threaten this? Why threaten to attack the thing that the people of Iran but not the regime hold dearly? He’s such an idiot.
If they care about that history and those sites, perhaps they should appreciate the warning. Stop the threats. Stop targeting America and Americans.1) Almost certain targeting and destroying important historic cultural sites is a war crime.
2) Iranians are more proud of their history than anything. They don’t care about their government. Not all even care about Islam for the most part. But all, and I mean all care about their history. So why target something that the citizens of Iran care about more than anything? Like damn if anything just threaten to kill the ayatollah? What a ****ing dumbass. Way to alienate an entire country.
It's not entirely clear what he means by important to the Iranian culture. I find it highly, highly unlikely that we would strike historical sites just to blow stuff up.
Cult of celebrity is foolish. They are all faulted human beings just like the rest of us.I don't know what happened there, don't care. Trump wasnt bought by Russians, they didn't rig the election. Do you really believe that? Nothing went over my head, there are no pictures so you haven't posted them. Otherwise they'd be up. Fact is back deals are cut between world leaders all the time, the Clinton's are master abusers of this art, the people know it and couldn't stomach her as president. It was foolish to run her, it's why we ended up with Trump.
It's the same as half those railing against Trump who had no problem with him before and in fact clamored to get themselves in the same room and take pictures with him. It's why I don't participate in the cult of celebrity.
Seems like they are the anti-answer to everything. The group organizing the protests
Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER), also known as International A.N.S.W.E.R. and the ANSWER Coalition, is a United States–based protest umbrella group consisting of many antiwar and civil rights organizations. Formed in the wake of the September 11th attacks, ANSWER has since helped to organize many of the largest anti-war demonstrations in the United States, including demonstrations of hundreds of thousands against the Iraq War.[1][2] The group has also organized activities around a variety of other issues, ranging from the Israel/Palestine debate to immigrant rights to Social Security to the extradition of Luis Posada Carriles.[citation needed]
ANSWER characterizes itself as anti-imperialist, and its steering committee consists of socialists, communists, civil rights advocates, and left-wing or progressive organizations from the Muslim, Arab, Palestinian, Filipino, Haitian, and Latin American communities. Many of ANSWER's lead organizers had ties to the International Action Center and Workers World Party at the time of ANSWER's founding.[3]
ANSWER has faced criticism from other anti-war groups for its affiliations, tactics at demonstrations, and allegedly sectarian approach to joint anti-war work. It also faced criticism from various sources for its claimed anti-Zionist politics.

"Death to America" has been one of Iran's primary slogans since the Iranian Revolution in 1979. Way to alienate an entire country, eh?
Fwiw, i don't see us going to war. Iranian proxies will hit soft targets if they can. Propaganda will be maxed out on both sides. We havent really since WW2 when we just killed everyone which...is how you win wars.
Question for the military-minded here:
There's no secret that we're dealing with tribal mindsets and familial / religious loyalties, and Iranian citizens who may want change but will also stand up to outside aggression even if it's on their side. That's the Middle East for you.
How much effort do we put into reinforcing the anti-Ayatollah Iranians and preventing them from turning on us should we end up in a ground confrontation at some point?
I say zero effort. You said tribal....unless you wipe out one of the tribes, the tribal caveman knuckle dragging democrat voting mentality will continue.Question for the military-minded here:

It gets palpable here, nothing yet that I've seen or heard. When they scramble you know it.
