This.Read my posts...
I haven't weighed in on Islam in this discussion.
And read my posts. I am actually arguing to afford Islam the exact same benefit I'm arguing for Christianity. That's EXACTLY what I'm arguing for.
Take the holy texts of each religion and judge what they command you to do. Judge the actions that people commit in their name according to whether they are in accord to the texts. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Then you can judge a religion.
Ok, I see what you are saying. I think you may not be clear to what the accusation is. The accusation is that Soleimani was in Benghazi actively involved in the embassy attack and also involved in the funneling of weapons to Syria. This is what doesn't make sense.I don't know if I buy this or not but if they were to be used against Assad it would benefit the interests he represents if this operation became public knowledge, it would be shut down
It's allot more than I know, thanks.Due to the SAM coverage around Iran, the strategy would be to utilize FA-18 Hornets equipped with AGM-88 Harm missiles to take out the SAM sites and radars, since an aircraft that could get in and get out quickly would be needed.
A-10s could be used against armor, infantry, and AAA threats.
F-16s can also be used for SEAD and CAS, but they couldn't be operated off a carrier in the Persian Gulf and they don't have the same durability of an A-10.
Just a hypothetical Air Strike Package.

Does anybody here really, truly believe that Trump's desire to have a distraction from impeachment and some sort of "win" played absolutely NO role in his decision? No role at all?
Come on.
We have a hard on for Iran for over 70 years. Overthrowing a popular secular anticommunist in Mossadegh and replacing him with a quarter century of The Shah. Then we arm Saddam and allow Iraq to slaughter a million Iranians in the Iran-Iraq War. And then years of sanctions.Very interesting... thanks
I think you make some valid points, but I'd be remiss if I didn't remind you that Christianity expanded in a similar fashion. The Americas were not beacons of Christianity. Many Native Americans were given the choice to convert or die, especially in lands colonized by the Spanish. I am a Christian myself, but I recognize my religion has not always been a religion of peace. Even now, in today's world, I question how far some go to "spread the word". It's one thing to share and quite another to push, and I've witnessed quite a bit of pushing.
The world is becoming a much more screwed up place, and humanity spends too much time picking apart our differences rather than focusing on our similarities. Intolerance is going to tear this world apart.
