Yes, I think we are on the same page now. And I was not clear on the theory. Thanks for clearing that up.Ok, I see what you are saying. I think you may not be clear to what the accusation is. The accusation is that Soleimani was in Benghazi actively involved in the embassy attack and also involved in the funneling of weapons to Syria. This is what doesn't make sense.
I think me and you agree that the only logical explanation (which is what I read a few hours before) is that Soleimani was made aware of the Benghazi gun running and made an attempt to stop it. As far as him personally having boots on the ground in Benghazi at the time, that is hard to say.
As far as him having boots on the ground I think it likely, if the theory is correct that, he was nearby manufacturing the outcry to locals for action. It's obvious to me that someone with sophisticated intelligence apparatus and a long reach was involved.
