I haven't looked too far into the alleged payments/donations to Politico from USAID that have been reported, but I've skimmed some articles from left sources attempting to debunk it that got posted to reddit. In my opinion, the debunking has been a stretch..........'Tens of thousands of federal employees utilize Politico as a job resource, so USAID pays individual newsstand retail price to give every fed a personal subscription'............

As much as USAID supporters are trying to rein-in Elon & D.O.G.E. to keep funding(their jobs/kick backs) secured, they're playing the court of public opinion and trying to stay ahead of these reports as well. If there's counter conservative issues and causes complicit in USAID largesse, it should already be leaking and it's only a matter of time before the dam breaks.

A lot of what is being "reported" on twitter is completely unverified.

As far as foreign aid....IS IT REALLY the role of a secular government to tax it's full spectrum of citizens to send money overseas for purposes that would otherwise be considered christian based activities. You know. Benevolance. Separation of Church and State and all. Just curious how the screamers that claim government is not religion in other arenas like school prayer, the ten commandments in public spaces and every other religious objection we've heard...reconcile that with taxing it's populous and forcing all americans against their will to be religious and good folk by using their tax dollars to feed the poor abroad, and such. Every legit program that USAID, et al, is supposed to be engaged in by definition is a regligious act.
