USC Appeal denied completely

Oh, I think this new crew is going to be consistent. The Vest is probably already crafting his "retirement" speech for November.
What kind of punishments do you think OSU will get assuming Tressel steps down/leaves? I'd assume it wouldn't be too bad, but it's hard to say.

....I'm not holding any ill will towards USC. but knowing that Kiffin paid a price to go home is worth a chuckle.

This is going to kill USuCks! They blew their wad with recruits this year. They will really suffer the next three. SGM, how does your boy ride this out? How will their worthless appeal effect kiffins upcoming AA meeting?

Doesn't this kind of kill any chance USC has at being really good for a while? Maybe they'll have a couple good years but then the scholarship reductions seem like they'll make it a long time before they can win again.

It's going to take 5 seasons or so for these sanctions to really get over and done with.

You then have to rebuild the reputation of a winner and get the ball rolling again.

I don't see Kiffin lasting that long there.

15 I believe.

Much less they are over the 80 players now and only have 13 seniors. They are only allowed 75 total next year. I am sure they will cut ties with some undrpreforming guys, but i dont think the will be abel to have blue chipp prospects in line to take the spot's. Just a guess but I would say 8 on the low end and 13 on the extream high.

Lane Kiffin on the day the sanctions were announced:
"We have very powerful people at USC"

yeah, pissing NCAA off even more is a good idea.

How many scholarships can USC give out in football this year?

15, but currently they only have room for 9. they'll have to force another 6 people out (which i'm sure they'll do).

bush is to blame certainly, but if SC didn't claim innocence for a year the penalties would have been far less severe.
