Personally, the only problem I have with him is that he left for his "dream job" at the worst possible time and in the worst possible manner, with a one-minute press conference and virtually no explanation for his sudden decision, leaving us scrambling for a new coach and to salvage a top-ten recruiting class. That is why I dislike him; I can't really speak for everyone else.
That is the part you continue to ignore. There were consequences stemming from his sudden exit, all of which had a negative impact on the talent pool and our depth chart, as attrition, defections, and injuries forced us to completely rewire our depleted roster to simply stay afloat against a brutal SEC schedule. Lane Kiffin did more harm to Tennessee than he did to help himself. Not to mention the trodding of toes while he was here, as someone here eloquently pointed out (username escapes me; my apologies). It's a good thing we don't have him anymore; we have Derek Dooley now, who, character-wise and common sense-wise, is a dramatic upgrade. You need to accept the fact that Dooley is our coach now, not Kiffin. Come out of that fantasy world you have created for yourself.
