According to Bryan Fischer

Prior to any defections, USC can only take a class of 6 in 2012 to get under the 75 man roster limit.

It wouldn't surprise me to see guys walk-on and USC give them "academic" scholarships.

There are ways around this but I don't think Haden is going to let Kiffin have any slack whatsoever.

Agreed on Haden, especially after the NCAA reviews our mess with Pearl/Kiffin.

you might be able to get away with that for special teams players, but the ncaa monitors this pretty closely. you have to spend the majority of your time for non football related activities.

Seriously SGM? It's not just that you don't detest him. You have repeatedly defended him and his recruits which are no longer here. I get poking fun at the ones who would have burned mattresses or left obscene calls etc but your no Switzerland.

I'm still under the impression that UT football is going to get off relatively easy all things considered.

I will be interested to see what the NCAA does to Kiffin in this. USC is going to be looking down a double-barrelled shotgun by the time all is said and done, especially on the recruiting trail.

Comparing our NCAA issues to USC is laughable.

It does mean that Mike Hamilton will be viewed as a genius when we do not get on much trouble.
