USC Please Give me a break.

I am all for thinking USC is the team of the decade, but a coaches record the majority of the time, will be worse against his own conference than OOC.

Not when you plan a nonconference schedule of the caliber of USCs. Aren't they 5-1 in BCS bowls?

Heres what they have pulled from the South in the past years.

2009 - Alshon Jeffrey 4* WR from SC
2008 - TJ Bryant 4* DB from FL
2008 - Brice Butler 4* WR from GA
2008 - Daniel Campbel 4* OL from TX
2007 - Joe Mcknight 5* RB from LA
2007 - Broderick Green 4* RB from AR
2006 - Emmanuel Moody 4* RB from TX (UF Now)
2006 - Vidal Hazleton 5* WR from VA
2006 - Michael Morgan 4* LB from TX

And the one that hurt the most
2005 - Patrick Turner 5* WR from Nashville.

Seems to me they get the ones they want from the South.

Tennessee would do the same in the Pac-10. No championship game too easy. No defenses to play against cakewalk. I would pay to switch conferences. USC wouldn't even be able to really recruit down here.
USC would boat race UT this year.

Let's see Turner's a bust don't care about losing him. Joe Mcknight got fed the we'll use you like Reggie Bush line. And they couldn't keep Darell Scott in State the #1 RB in the country not just the state.

are you really trying to argue that pete carroll isn't a good recruiter?

USC always has a top notch OOC schedule. My point is, when you play in-conference teams year in & year out, they have a better chance of knocking you off, rather than an OOC team. See, Oregon State, UCLA, Stanford etc...

Why are so many people in love with this team? For one if they were in the SEC we wouldn't hear about them. Another thing they really don't have as many good players as people think. Ex: when they move on to the pros they become busts more often than not. Ex B: Emmanuel Moody transfers to Florida after being a factor back at USC and can't make it off the practice squad. He also looks slow. Its terrible that they save them every year from playin a marquee SEC team. Why schedule Aurburn and Arkansas. How aboutthey schedule Georgia, Florida, LSU, Tennessee. This is getting terrible. Instead of playing Georgia in the BCS bowl they sent the Pac-10's baby brother Hawaii to take the whoppin. Others thoughts on this all universe team are welcome.

They're records speak for themselves, they are without a doubt the most talented team in the country...Litterly a football factory...as far as them ducking people, Trust me, USC doesn't duck ANYBODY...I remember UT playing them in the 1980's and they destroyed us in 1981...They rarely lose to SEC teams, they are one of the few that actually has a winning record against the SEC...Remember, That Arkansas team they beat the hell out of, Beat us like a drum that same year...they would EASILY and I mean this, EASILY dismantle Florida...Hell florida can't beat a bad Michigan team :eek:lol:

Soft? ray maualuga knifed some guy.

YouTube - Huge Hit

You'd think after two straight pac-10 teams dominated Tenn physically you guys would drop the "pac-10 is soft" bs.

Wow a QB thats really hittin. Tray Blackmon hits harder than Meyaluaga. And we were young against Cal. But just got out coached this year. Not dominated what were you looking at.

Michigan was not considered the #2 team in the country by anyone that knew any football.

That OU defense was exposed as a total fraud over the last half of the season. USC took advantage of 700 OU turnovers, weakened D line and shoddy secondary.

Lost to a TX team that they should have murdered.

Their defense most definetly did.

Uh... No.

If we had a quarterback that could have made a pass that game would have been over in the first half. It had little to do with being more physical and a lot to do with bad qB play.

You had a senior qb and an experienced defense yet cal put up more total yards and far more yards rushing.

I saw a QB that was running for his life.

negative. We had an injured Sr QB, no receivers and a massively inexperienced back 7 on defense.
