The sc site thinks all 30 scholly's are not for just the football team, that includes the tennis team also. Even their tennis team cheats.

They're in denial. It's understandable. And by 'understandable' I mean hilariously entertaining.

Make no mistake, Tim resigned. He wasn't going to deal with Mike Garrett for five more seconds. Garrett was shocked he quit.

Seems VERY doubtful, based upon the report, that any sane college team would ever hire Pete Carroll again. He better hope he succeeds in the NFL this time.

if the football team gets a 2 year bowl ban and the basketball team only gets a 1 year bowl ban i think we can safetly assume floyd didn't hand a guy $1K in broad daylight or at least there isn't evidence of it.

Also, remember that the one year postseason ban was one Mike Garrett self imposed and has already been served.

The best thing is that under the NCAA bylaws, USC's juniors and seniros can seek an immediate transfer with no loss of eligibility because they will not be able to participate in ANY bowls, the remainder of their respective collegiate careers. Reduction in scholarships AND a mass exodus of upper-class talent: wouldn't that be one helluva double-whammy for Kiffy and Co.?
