USC sanctions

So we are sure it was Todd McNair they were talking about. I'm just curious, I really don't know **** about USC's coaching staff from that time. The report mentions that he was a former NFL player and was friends with a "comedian and actor who has appeared in various roles in television and motion pictures." Also, I'm assuming that's Will Ferrell, which made me chuckle that he found his way in here.

Look at all of Vegas Vol's worthless allegations. Thise must make up an unassailable stat line and prove something for you. Gibbs will be so excited.

What a shock that you are a defender of corruption at SC.

So is it true the kids out there are allowed to transfer if they choose to without having to sit out a season? Het Kitten always liked the attention.. I imagine he is really happy now that he is in the spotlight.....

The only way that this day could be better is if Monte says he's too old to deal with this and quits.

:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

Also, sounds like Percy Harvin got to meet the agents at the club as well. The night referenced for "the top prospect" was Oct. 29, 2005, being hosted by Bush and McNair, which matches what Rivals has for his official visit and recruiter.

The hits keep rolling. Better keep an eye out on that 2006 championship. Yes, I know I'm grasping for straws here.

Hey Ambles and company HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH..... Looks like Kif got ya.

I am laughing at the people who think Ogre and Kiffin had nothing at all to do with this. Don't kid yourself. Floyd may be innocent but there's no way that only Todd McNair is the only one involved in this from that staff.

Does anyone else find it interesting that the report (pg. 25) suggests that Percy Harvin met the same Agents during his official visit? Or is it just me.

Well I am not going to lie but it sure does feel damn go to be A TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER right now!

WHOOT!
I cannot believe you are reveling in other's misery. That's just so uncool.

But yeah, screw those guys. Karma's a b and it isn't finished yet.

This right here is the ultimate measurement about the trash we had up there as coaches this past year. If you defend them past this point, you are just dumb, IMO.

Floyd has a new gig because he was clean.

Floyd has a new gig where -- is it UTEP? He has it because he couldn't get completely caught, but as the report notes, his apparent focus was avoiding anything getting caught:

"The former head men's basketball coach, assistant men's basketball coach, institutional compliance staff, faculty athletics representative, and athletics director all knew this representative had previously committed two separate NCAA violations. One of these violations involved the former men's basketball student-athlete and in the other violation, the representative was found to have provided benefits to a student-athlete. These university officials also knew that the representative was acting as the point person in the recruitment of the former men's basketball student-athlete, yet failed to take steps to monitor this recruitment."

Calipari is at Kentucky. You saying that's because he's "clean"? Even Tark got a job after UNLV.

i disagree. i posted the relavant information in this forum in a different thread
Not a single action by Tim Floyd that you posted is contrary to NCAA rules. You see what penalties the 'AA imposed on him. None. Ask Kelvin Sampson if the 'AA allows you to change jobs and wipe your slate clean. Todd Bozeman can also give you a tutorial on that issue.

Only if they cheated to get their players to come to campus. If Reggie Bush just got a house when he was already there, then the rest of the players shouldn't lose a national title.

Creating an environment where agents & others could meet, greet & funnel cash, then having recruiters hide it and lie to the NCAA is called cheating and yes, it had a definite impact on selling the SC brand to potential recruits during that time.
