The only relief I could see them getting is the bowl ban reduced to one season. If the 'AA has evidence McNair knew of the transactions between Lake, Michaels, and the Bushes, there's no way they'll get some scholarships back.
So Bill Self shouldn't have recruited Brandon Rush? Jim Boeheim shouldn't have recruited Carmelo Anthony? Bob Huggins/Frank Martin shouldn't have recruited Micheal Beasley? Each of those guys carried this exact same baggage and cloud of suspicion to college.i understand your point that by the letter of the law he did what was required, but i still disagree that he shouldn't have done more since it was an obvious infraction waiting to happen.
Probably. When I finally read Tarnished Heisman and saw that Lake had recorded a bunch of phone calls, I figured SC might have more problems than they thought.
Wrong about the USC situation as a whole, from reasoning to sanctions.
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me which page of the report the 'AA's finding that Tim Floyd handed Rodney Guillory $1,000 at a mall in Brentwood can be found on. I bet it's right next to the show cause order they slapped Tim with for his violations of 'AA rules. As the skilled lawyer you are you do seem to be couching it nicely now though
No, I wasn't. Show me any penalties against Tim Floyd and I'll listen to you. Otherwise, I'll treat the rest of your posts as I usually do.
