Neutral site game with Virginia Tech
Away game at Nebraska
Home Game with Connecticut

And then possibly a 9 game SEC slate if we go to that by 2016. How will Tennessee not have the toughest schedule in the nation.

The 9 game conf schedule is what I was thinking of. I think they will get out of playing Nebraska, but either way I think 9 SEC games is tough enough, non conf should be "easy" game imo.

From the picture in the early part of this forum, it appears that the closest fan will be about a half mile away from the field.... AND... the low rows, IMHO... will have terrible views. I'll pass.

I've never been to the BMS. Is it that much higher than Neyland? Or is it just the perspective. Given the blacktop area at BMS is about 650 ft. the rest looks correct. Nice job.

Pretty sure 104.5 in Nashville was just running through ideas and brought up the possibility on having it as a 3 day festival with a Kenny Chesney concert on Saturday and the game on Monday night.

if this is true they just turned it into a day trip for me.

Seems like this is about the game. The countdown clock looks to be set for the press conference announced for Monday. Pretty neat.

This Bruton guy wanted to dump at least 40 million dollars to make this happen back in 2005. No doubt there will be some conveniently timed building construction/"upgrades" going on around that time. He wants this and he's apparently willing to pay to make it happen. They'll find a way around the buildings.

I'm wondering if Nascar is looking at moving the 2nd Bristol weekend to another point in their season (all star? Chase?). I'm thinking with the way they're bleeding viewers and ticket sales they might be getting ready to really shake a few things up. Maybe this finally came together since the dates will work out better for track prep, etc.

100% agree... Bruton is a straight up clown... but... this clown will pull it off... and it will be epic.

Also... I wouldn't be surprised to see it sell out quickly. Hope it happens in October too.

We do some work for his son, and some work at Zmax. I'll try to get the scoop next time I see him.
