Vandy down by 12 with 1:23 to go. Looks like its over. If ole miss makes the tourney and doesn't lose by double digits in the first round I'll be surprised.

If ole miss beats Florida tomorrow they've earned my respect. I don't like Henderson but what can you say?

If Vandy had gone on to beat Fl tomorrow that would have been worse than Ole Miss going to the final, IMO. So maybe the SEC sneaks another team in. Tough to decide between Maryland and Tennessee though. That season ending stretch for UT was impressive, and while the SEC is down, it’s not a walk through the park.

Plus, some of these A10 teams that are going to make it are a joke. I have season tix to Dayton, and have seen most of these teams play. Believe it or not, I think that 1 point loss to Georgetown is gonna prove strong for Tennessee. I think we make the dance.

I think the last team in is a tossup between MTSU and Tennessee.

Did I hear Dickie V say no team w 28 wins has ever missed the tourney? I don't think that's true.

Oh I agree. I think they are a good team. If we played them I'd put the line at "Pick 'em" and not be surprised one bit if they beat us.

But just on principle, seeing a Tennessee school that isn't Memphis or Vandy take an at-large spot from Tennessee wouldn't sit well with me.

MTSU is supposed to be like the little kid. You know what I'm saying?

Good point by Jay Williams...if ole miss wins how much better does that make MTSU look? Would give them a top 50 win which they currently have 0 of...need Florida to really put it to them.

It would've been nice if Mizzou would've. Choking bastards.

Like I said yesterday, if Ole Miss beats Mizzou, they have a cake walk to the finals. Candy wasn't going to win 3 games in 3 days. Not with that roster.

MTSU has played a measly four games against Top 100 teams and won 1.

UT played 19 rpt 19 games against Top 100 teams and won 9.

That alone would prompt me to put UT in the dance ahead of MTSU. That's why you've got to schedule some good programs.
