'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

2nd year at LB. He's probably going to move up more in the rankings.

Feel sorry for Virginia Cavaliers. They never get any of their elite In-State guys
Well you can root for them in Nashville, bub.

Virginia is belong to us.

IMO, this is the kind of player you want the staff/Spyre to "overpay" for. You're talking about a LB that UGA covets, and one who would complete a trio of truly elite LBs between Carter/Spillman/Cole in the 23/24 cycles. That's the type of position room that makes you a true championship contender.

We can all help make that happen:

Cole is very Talented and will be great coming off the edge and playing in space hope he does sign with good guys. But those who fail to mention Telander as one to watch in future just because he was 3 star player well believe me if he stays Healthy he will play in NFL one day. Some Kids just have IT and He does. In CHRIST Alone.

Yeah he was criminally underrated and continued to ball out on every stage. Crazy they wouldn't give him a bump. Oh well, he's going to do great things for us.

I'm glad to hear Telander is looking like he had a good offseason. When I'm talking about "elite" prospects I'm not talking about rankings, I'm talking about who else wanted them. For Carter/Spillman/Cole, that's Bama/OSU/UGA.

There was a video posted in one of the other threads in which they stated that both Carter and Telander put on about 20 pounds each since spring practice. That's crazy.

understand that's why who offers doesn't define a kid he does and this kid has Elite ability. In CHRIST Alone

I'm talking about defense though. That's where we need an infusion of talent. That's where changes need to happen, not with the coaches but the players.
we did that though.

We had 11 returning 4* on defense, this freshman class ('23 recruits) included 8 4* defensive players. No way to say that isn't an upgrade.

especially considering that we brought in 2 4* LBs and otherwise had zero on the roster.
3 current 4* DBs, we brought in 2 more
8 current 4* DL, we brought in 4.

we still have a long way to go, but no one should act like we aren't addressing the issue.

with a lot of time still to go we currently have another 7 or 8 4* defensive recruits. yeah we need more DL, but we are clearly in on some guys who will be upgrades.
