'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

Iin reality there might be 10 legit cases out there....
Exactly! Or 17 or 7 cases. Investigate until you know.

....because of the 1 extra they had to drop the whole thing.
No, they absolutely did not. You've been conned.

What you describe is how the fixers substituted the fake issue for the real issue. The exact number of cases (impertinent to an ongoing investigation) were put in place of the facts of what was actually uncovered about multiple instances.

And you need to consider how they pinned the whole thing on this one reporter, when multiple editors and people from the front office reviewed the articles pre-pub. Why didn't they fire them?

Classic fix. And the media went along with it. But you should know better.

And don't at me. I don't want to explain it over and again.

And don't drag past allegations at our campus into your benighted view, buttercup, as if that were in any way exonerating. It's merely trollish.

What’s awful about the entire situation is Georgia fans claimed victory even though the kid still pled guilty to sexual assault. That fanbase has some serious problems in it and it’s being perpetuated by coach who only cares about winning. One day it will catch up to them and I hope the NCAA/FBI gets involved. Something ain’t right down there
Are you talking about the alleged instance of gang rape during a high school recruit's visit to UGA. Or one of the other events? LouderVol says "in reality there might be 10 legit cases out there."

Never mind. Enough's been said. Nothing is going to happen. Nothing will be investigated.

that’s just such an insane number of incidents in that time span. Feel bad for all the innocent ppl out there around Athens who are sharing the road with these morons daily. Hope nobody else gets hurt.

What a culture
UGA has a recruiting profile.....doing what they can to make those young men unproductive members of society. I think Kirby is using The Longest Yard to build the recruiting profile that they want.

I’ll say this. I know of one player who was pursued by UGA, that was completely turned off from UGA because of the environment. Not to get hyperbolic or religious, but this player is a Christian and felt very uncomfortable with the culture at Georgia.
I knew they were devil worshippers

I am not surprised by this. It seems like the Kirby Cup is becoming a real thing. I have a feeling that you either get in line and shut your mouth at UGA or you commit and or transfer to another school. It is becoming even more obvious on the sidelines watching the UGA support staff, coaches, and players interact the way they do. It has gotten worse every year. I distinctly recall a few years ago, a 5 star receiver from UGA taking his gatorade bottle and squeezing it directly in the opposing players face. Small things like this are non verbal communication and cues that somehow allow a kid to think it is ok to behave this way. To be honest, I think UGA is a ticking time bomb. Here is a situation I would like to propose. What if the horrific Jaylen Carter incident happens before the Tennessee game last year? Does Kirby still win a title? or does OSU even have to think about that missed field goal for eternity?(BTW this was the only time I have ever in my life pulled for those losers from Columbus). Kirby and UGA are one horrific incident happening during the season from imploding and becoming viewed as a toxic program and culture to be around regardless of championships or wins on the field. There are tons of kids and parents that will continue to grow, that want to steer clear of Athens. I feel like Kirby is going to get as many wins and championships as he can before his house of cards comes tumbling down. Does anyone else feel and or see the culture problem even on the sidelines during games like I do or am I in the minority?

Kirby is a sh*tty person who never had to work hard for talent.

The sh*t their players do is disgusting and reckless.

The least talented roster he ever coached was #6 in talent composite with 8 five stars and 34 four stars and lost to vandy. Hell he lost to a vastly inferior SCAR in 2019 with the 3rd most talented roster. His defensive scheme is just having elite talent. He needed a historically elite OC in Monken and injuries to elite WRs who was smoking his defense to get his two natties.

I guarantee he would not get 10 wins out of our roster like Huepel did. His scheme isn’t anything special it just requires NFL caliber defenders.

I'm not sure any player who is extremely religious and doesn't have thick skin is going to feel comfortable at any big-time college football program, tbh. We had a kid that transferred out not too long ago under Butch because he didn't like being cussed at.
Well, this kid is at a SEC school. He also said he only felt this way at Georgia.
Obviously the experience of one kid doesn’t mean it’s a trend, but I found it very curious.

If Georgia keeps winning titles and putting players in the league they’ll continue to get top recruits nothing else matters.

Yep…we should just go ahead and concede anyone that they really want to them…no need to waste our time right? Then we can focus on the next tier of players that will get us kinda close to the top but never all the way there…sounds like a solid plan to me

Word around SWVa is UT gained a ton of momentum. A TON. The family absolutely loves this entire staff especially our head coach. Both his family and Lewis family feel exactly the same. Peyton loves the idea of them rooming together as well. School starts soon here and he's not wanting to be pressed to make a decision and UGa is all over him to do so. Also, could end up being a 5 star according to a local coach here I know well.

That’s good news. Does this coach compete against him or just his opinion based on talking to other coaches?

Not what I said at all, we can beat them for recruits and they can still have the number #1 recruiting class.

All the people saying a crappy culture will prevent them from recruiting well are delusional.
