'19 VA LB Eugene Asante

I honestly think we will see Banks moving back to RB. We need a bruiser and that’s what he is. They can fix his fumbling woes and they will if he moves back to that position. That being said he is heavier than 211 lbs.

I expect Crouch to handle short yardage situations in addition to LB.

Westfield , the school he comes from is in Division 6 in Virginia. The largest division in the state and his school is a football factory. They just lost their 1st game in 4 years in the state semi final this year. The competition you see on his HUDL is the top in the state.

Very doubtful with his injury woes. I doubt they are going to risk him getting hurt at RB if he is eventually a starter on Defense.

I mean, there's a chance he's a day 1 starter at LB and that would probably keep him off the field at RB, but he's the best short yardage back on our roster on day 1. We'd be fools not to give him a few situational carries.

I don’t think he starts on defense his first year. I could be wrong.

Offer list is good but I hope the staff is not reaching at this point if we don't land the primaries. It hurts scholarship numbers in the future.

Wait till year 2 or 3 for RB .... Let him bulk up and maybe get him to learn 1 position first....

12 second 100 meter translates to a 10.97 second 100 yard dash, or 1.097 seconds per yard. 1.097 x 40 roughly translates to a 4.39 second 40 yard dash. I'll take sub 4.4 speed anytime."

OMG, that is so wrong. I have old clippings from my dad, back in the 60's. He ran a sub 9.8 100 yard dash. He told me that during his time with the Vols he ran 4.4-4.5 40 times.

It seems that many do not understand this defense or the positions. This kid looks like he can be a Roquan Smith type of LB in a defensive scheme like the Vols have. The more successful 3-4 schemes are featuring guys in the middle that can track from sideline to sideline. This kid looks to have the ability to do that. I hope they make him a high priority.

Oh hell yeah, this kid is explosive and just plain fast. Looks like he can grow into the long lean body and not lose a step. Fits Pruitt's defense, hell any defense. Reminds me of Chavis' LBs, fast and enjoy bringing some pain

Just watched the kids highlights for the first time. He certainly has a closing burst of speed but it takes a fews steps to his speed up at RB. Highlights are his best plays so take it for what it is worth. Hard to make judgments when you see highlights where a player is hardly ever blocked. You really would like to see how kids can fight off blocks or though blocks to get to the runner or passer. That's my half-penny worth.

Good to see ya post.
What’s your opinion on this one

He will end up at Nebraska because we offered too late. Plus that’s where his brother played.

That’s all we get, Highlights. You have to compare player A’s “best” vs player B’s “best”.

That’s why Russell’s Hudl is so funny to me, not to mention the people hyping him. Those are supposed to be his HIGHLIGHTS, his best plays on film, and he looks absolutely pedestrian out there playing against the best Dyersburg, TN has to offer....

Yet the coaches apparently see something.

Uhhh, that ain't the way it works..
