Vaccine or not?

Probably because they are the same people that forced others to wear them?
May or may not be. I live in a conservative republican town in a conservative republican state that overwhelmingly voted for Trump and had a mask mandate for a while. I don't see the local governor, mayor, council, or state reps wearing masks anymore and they are the ones that let the mandate happen.

In fact, I remember when the mask mandate was in effect, (even on this forum) there was a bunch of, "wear a mask if you want, don't make me wear one." Now it's, "don't wear a mask, because I'm just a big of a busybody as I assume you are and I'm going to make fun of you."

Well yea - “wear a mask if you want, but don’t make me wear one”. That would have been great.

But that did not happen.

Could be the wellspring from which all this harping flows

And this means the people wearing a mask now are the ones that made you wear a mask then?

“May or may not”

You asked why the continual harping on this. I would estimate that 98.27% of the people wearing masks alone in their cars supported the forced mask wearing.

They are easily identifiable symbols of those oppressive actions and times.

You’re a smart guy. I would not entertain a mouth breather like Turbo on this.

If you don’t like the harping, simply say that. I would understand and accept that. It’s the feigned “where is this coming from?” that I take issue with.

I don't have any idea what turbo said. I'm responding to Cagle posting Tomi Lahren's tweet about it. I don't have any idea who triggered Tomi or why they might be wearing a mask.

Forgot about Turbo. He’s doesn’t matter.

I’m simply pointing out why the harping is so strong. And calling out the “where is this coming from?” silliness.

I know where it's coming from. I find it silly. Read tomi's tweet if you need evidence of same.
I couldn’t care less what it is she is screeching about.

You said you didn’t understand the people that said - “where a mask if you want, don’t make me wear one” harping on mask wearers now.

I know why they screech, I don't understand their logic. The last people I saw wearing masks were a couple in their 80s that came to my business. I don't know their health situation, but it didn't appear to be great and they can do what they want for all I care.

They would likely be in the 1.73% of current mask wearers.

It is the 98.27% of current mask wearers alone in their cars that are the objects of the harping.

The ones that most certainly did not abide by the “wear one if you want, but don’t make me wear one” standard.

My conservative republican governor and mayor, neither of whom would be caught dead in a mask today, are the people who told me I had to wear one. Don't make up statistics or the same people who berate Luther for doing so might come after you.

I was intentionally channeling Luther for effect with that completely made up 98.27%
I thought that would have been obvious. My bad.

I still see people on a daily basis wearing them. 99% are incorrectly wearing paper masks.

We also have Flu, Shingles, Measles, Chicken Pox and Pneumonia vaccines and they have higher survival rates.

Honestly, before the Lancet published Andrew Wakefield's fraudulent 1990s study linking vaccines to Autism, I never heard anyone saying negative things about them.

20 years after the study was retracted and admitted to have been falsified, the anti-vax movement is still going strong without an ounce of science behind it.

To each his own. Everyone should be free to make their own healthcare decisions. I would never stop anyone from taking any drug/tx/vaccine that's been thoroughly tested and proven effective and safe. I do, however, demand the same right to refuse any drug/tx/vaccine that I'm not comfortable with. I've listened to various virologists and read numerous articles about the nRNA approach to this vaccine. Granted it's not new, but there are reasonable concerns about an autoimmune complication. This concern, along with the aforementioned survival rate, has convinced me that it's not something I'm willing to do. Again, I see no need for it.

Yes, I'll be the first to admit that I'm also anti-mask. I wear one every day in my line of work(healthcare provider for almost 40 years) and know what they will and will not do. Anyone who thinks a mask will protect them from a viral particle this size is simply naive. They are completely and totally ineffective at stopping this virus. I won't even go into the eyes being exposed to said virus, but suffice it to say, I'm amazed at how quickly some have given up their God given freedoms and completely stopped thinking for themselves.

Fox viewers continue to push this politicized nonsense about the supposed adverse effects from the vaccines. The reality is that 70 percent of the American population has received the vaccine(s)--that's more than 230 million people-- and there have been precious few adverse effects. To keep pushing this BS now is absurd. The issue was politicized by the right as soon as a Democrat was elected president--fact. The vaccines have proven safe.
What have they proven about “hot lots” and dosage related side effects? C’mon braggadocios show me your brain. Include the VEARS data please.

Let's not let pesky facts get in the way.

1. There has been no increase in stillborn rate in the US. It's actually lower than 2018 (2.7/1000 vs 2.8/1000)

https://genderdata.worldbank.org/indicators/sh-dyn-stlb/?year=2019

2. Have no idea where figures from your chart come from. There's ~1MM miscarriages/stillbirths in US annually...

You are right. I’m sure some of the stillborn deaths were killed on motorcycles, just like the Covid deaths.

What we learned from Covid is death figures are accurately reported.

I believe that chart reflects stillborn births that were reported to vaers. The huge increase reported to vaers would make sense (whether accurate or not) given the large increase in people who took a particular vaccine.
