Why would you need a religious exemption if you are a 1099 individual?

To have access to accounts. Healthcare systems have credentialing companies that load all contracted individual’s credentials into their system. And the charge us for it. It’s a scam but there is no way around it.

So my exemption had to be loaded in that aforementioned system.

Since you weren't an employee, your exemption wouldn't have been sufficient if a medical entity decided not to utilize your services for that reason. You can't qualify for EEOC accommodations if you aren't an E.

Thankfully for you, the value of your services was enough for them...

Yeah they kind of need me there. It’s a small specialized role. Basically the accounts have to have us but they make us go through the motions and carry on the charade that they are in charge. I view it as a partnership even if they don’t see it that way.

I will also add that they had us complete the identical paperwork that their employees did to get the exemption. Then we downloaded it into their credentialing system. Like I said it’s a charade

I actually work in healthcare as well. I got a religious exemption.

I sent a copy of my antibody screen and told them if they didn't like it, they could find someone else to cover ER call and chair my department.

That only makes sense to folks that understand antigen/antibodies.

I also do not understand the concept of already having Covid and getting a shot to protect someone else that already had their shot. I just refuse to participate in lunacy.

The compounding pharmacy I use will fill the capsules to whatever dose is needed. I have 24 mg here, so I took 1.5 a day, and my wife used one, although that was a bit over what she needed. It's very safe, so going a little high isn't a big deal.

So Interestingly I just got a new script, and doctor changed dosage yet again. This is a preventative script because of my higher risk from prior bout. It's now 56mg Twice a week. With assumption I would change that to daily if I actually get covid. Which isn't a far off possibility mother in-law just tested positive.
