Vaccine or not?

I call it a shot and not a vaccine because it’s not a vaccine. I guess I could call it a bioweapon since it was created from the framework of a bioweapon
I’m unsure if you’re trying to argue at this point as you do tend to stray into the “gotcha” game that I’m not really interested in. And you said that before so I’ll say the same thing again too. The use of “shot” isn’t a term designed to frame the shot/vaccine in a negative light but simply an effort to clearly define the object in question. (Therefore no hypocrisy for denouncing the use of “horse paste” to describe ivermectin) I have no problem with the use of “shot”. It’s not the same as “jab”

You seem stuck on the biological weapon thing. Why are you hung up on something I clearly stated was my unproven opinion as a possibility? I actually think that if the Covid release was investigated that it would be found to be an accidental release of a biological weapon. I think there’s a slim chance it was an intentional release to reduce population in china. None of that is provable and is all speculation. I’ve been clear on what I’m speculating on and what’s proven.
You seem to have trouble telling the difference.

Why is that?

VolinWayne extrapolated VAERS data to imply there would are 1.7 million annual excess deaths from the vax. (He claims he didnt but he stated 17K deaths and that was only 1% reported). That 1.7Mm number is 60% of the total number of deaths in the US each year.

Other posters have posted links that claims 6.5 and 12 million annual US excess deaths based on their "research". Still awaiting an answer on how that's possible but it's from the segment that let's their echo chamber think for them so I guess I shouldnt hold my breath waiting on a response....

My point is if you increased actuarial results to any of those figures, you'd see a meltdown in the financial sector that would make 07-08 look tame.

I already explained that post . I should have quoted the entire paragraph from the study I provided. The "fewer then 1%" was referring to adverse events. They say 1-13% of serious events get reported.

Ladies and gentlemen, your poster boy for thoughtful, intelligent questioning of the efficacy of COVID vaccines .....

I hope that made you feel better. I simply call it a shot because it’s not a vaccine. That’s really all my original comment was about. Just stating my opinion.

Sorry it triggered you. Maybe we’ve found a new Covid shot side effect.

Got it. You made a random comment that had nothing to do with the conversation.

You like to try and play the “he mad” game a lot too.
Why do you feel so inadequate that it helps you to think you can control the emotions of others?

Well. 2007/2008 economic meltdown aside (which you would be correct about), I guess I'm still just looking for how you jumped from 60% and 250-400% in your post above.

WOW... you were able to blend together the argument against the jab/shot/"vaccine" (first paragraph) with the covid origin narrative (last paragraph).

I've realized during this C-19 ordeal the past 3+ years that we agree on a lot of things and disagree on a few others. But man... on those few we disagree on, I would say overwhelmingly it deals with medical items and you just seem to "frame" (to borrow your terminology) things as you being the zealot and anyone else is a heretic if they go against "established" medical philosophy based on "the science".

Did you get your booster in the deltoid or glute?

Maybe it’s my science background and maybe it’s the years of digging through studies to combat my wife’s cancer but all of what I base my beliefs on are on verifiable studies.
By that I mean one doesn’t get it done for me. If something is real then it should be repeatable every time it’s tried. You complain occasionally and the reliability of studies. If the methodology of a study isn’t transparent then I reject it. You mistakenly have assumed in the past that I blindly follow Drs. That could not be further from the truth. I’ve fired a lot more than I’ve ever listed too. I also don’t give 2 ***** what the FDA and CDC recommend I can read studies for myself.

We don’t disagree on as much as you think. And the stuff we do I could convince you in a library setting.

I think you take a lot of unnecessary grief from some on here because I believe you are genuine in your assessments. Wrong in my opinion at times but definitely not tribal.

I did not consciously think me calling it "the jab" was me trying to frame a narrative. I just thought it was some cool s^^t to say.
I know people who still think it’s not framing a narrative to call ivermectin “horse paste”. They justify it by saying that horse paste is a legitimate product.
In my mind if you’re trying to have a legitimate conversation you leave the political spin out and stick with appropriate terminology.

Just to clear the air, have you ever used the term "tractor supply" or anything along those lines with regards to ivermectin? If you have, would it be fair to say that is "framing" the narrative?

So much fake news on this MSN garbage site MSN

COVID levels are so high, they’re hovering near 2020’s initial peak, as the WHO urges those at high risk to take any booster they can get their hands on

I’ve had a cold for a week. Since Monday after the AP game. I’m all but over it now. Was it Covid? Probably. Did o test? Nope. Why? Because the dr I trust says it’s time to treat this thing like any other cold or flu. If you get sick stay home. If not go to work. If it gets worse come in to the office and we will go from there. So I kept taking the C , zinc, ect stayed away from everyone and went about my business

I will get a flu shot in a couple weeks but no more covid shots or tests -- One thing about these MSN sites clamoring about high covid rates - NONE of them allow comments like other articles -- why would that be ?

Covid rates are a worthless.
What is the hospitalization and icu rates?
There’s a reason they are not talking about that either.

I’m not sure on the flu shot this year either. They missed bad last year. I’m waiting on the information on this year’s shot before I decide on it.
Sadly it’s time for my old ass to get the shingles vaccine

Are they vaccinated?

Since it's not flu season you probably don't have any hospitalized flu patients but how many flu patients would you have typically during flu season?
