Or, it’s hard to trust people that have been lying to us since Covid started. I’m not vaccinated, got Covid twice and it was no big deal…for me. Others aren’t so lucky of course. I chose not to get vaccinated, others choose to do so and that’s fine for them. Someone choosing not to get vaccinated doesn’t mean they’re uneducated.

Well, I did consider it. But every psychiatrist I got an appointment with was A MAGA practicing psychiatry without a license. the state boards warned me to stay away from them to avoid being infected with liar-ism, reduced mental capacity, MTGism, and incurable dishonesty. Not to mention an utter lack of integrity. The last one I tried to visit, which was the same doctor you use, referred me to Vladimir Putin, though he also is unlicensed. I'm serious.

This is why I was screaming from the rooftops about no long term safety data. It’s a fundamental pillar in medicine. That’s the purpose of all the studies and data collection. To all of the folks that abandoned their training and went into panic mode, I hope you learned something. I hope you realize you cannot trust WHO, FDA, CDC, big pharma, etc.

Pfizer has a literal decades-long record of testing on populations with no or limited consent. This was their biggest one yet, and it blows my mind how leftoids suddenly became big pharma shills overnight. It really points right at who the absolute dumbest in our country are.

I will add this. A lot of folks that are supposed to be the smartest in their field were duped. These were not leftists. These are highly trained medical professionals. Friends of mine. They panicked. It was sad to see.

Well, as bad as it sounds coming out of my mouth/fingers/whatever, if one is frightened enough to panic that easy I don't think that person can be considered intelligent. Intelligence includes the ability to process rapidly, clearly, and calmly.

The other thing is this- about 70% of my job is now government "data science", though I wouldn't call myself a data scientist. And every day, when I see someone trying to do an analysis or I am asked for one, I have to ask "how was this data collected" and "what is missing". It's fundamental. In COVID, nobody was asking those questions, and if you did, you were a MAGA alt-right conspiratard.

The fact that we had idiots that were so staunchly in favor of everything from mandates to masks to social distancing when none had data and the data that was there was either falsified or modified to reach conclusions still blows my mind.

I had a surgeon friend that told me that people like me that were not taking the shot are the problem. Said we were spreading the virus. I reminded him of basic virology, herd immunity, etc. Needless to say we are cordial with each other now, but not friends like we used to be.

People get duped by the little Dr. abbreviation in front of names all the dang time. I deal with it in work- not with medical doctors, but other PhD types. They may be experts in one field, but very rarely can they expand that expertise to apply in other areas or understand how their actions impact other fields. They sure as hell think they know it all and are qualified to speak anywhere, though.

For me, I wouldn't think a surgeon necessarily has any more knowledge about disease impacts and population spread than the average person. They aren't the ones treating diseases or managing them.

It’s not something they focus on. But they did go through medical school and studied basic virology. They also work along side infectious disease doctors regularly in treatment of nosocomial infections.

Largest Covid Vaccine Study Yet Finds Links to Health Conditions

Vaccines that protect against severe illness, death and lingering long Covid symptoms from a coronavirus infection were linked to small increases in neurological, blood, and heart-related conditions in the largest global vaccine safety study to date.

The rare events — identified early in the pandemic — included a higher risk of heart-related inflammation from mRNA shots made by Pfizer Inc., BioNTech SE, and Moderna Inc., and an increased risk of a type of blood clot in the brain after immunization with viral-vector vaccines such as the one developed by the University of Oxford and made by AstraZeneca Plc.

The viral-vector jabs were also tied to an increased risk of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a neurological disorder in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the peripheral nervous system.
