Vaccine or not?

I keep hearing over and over people saying, “why should it matter if I get vaccinated, it doesn’t affect you.”

This is why it does……

Woman had life-saving surgery pushed back because Tennessee's hospitals are overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients

Phillips said she was frustrated that her neighbors weren't getting vaccinated, leading to a new surge in hospitalizations as the highly transmissible Delta variant spreads — and that those people were getting priority for treatment.

"I'm still so very angry that people who put their feelings before others' well-being get to be first in the hospitals," she wrote.

I’m curious how surgeons are overwhelmed with Covid patients.

Womp Womp … not life saving , all it took was a little digging .

Woman with trouble breathing has surgery delayed due to COVID patients filling hospital

I’m curious how surgeons are overwhelmed with Covid patients.
Her surgery would’ve almost certainly required a post op hospital stay. I’m sure they’re saying they don’t have the beds available due to Covid.
With that said… I assure you if whatever her issue is was even remotely close to life threatening, they’d do the surgery to correct it.

I promised Arizonans that we would not stand for the Biden Administration's egregious federal overreach on vaccine mandates.

Today, we have filed the first lawsuit in the nation against the unconstitutional mandates. Arizona will not tolerate this assault on our sovereignty. https://t.co/1eHAUX8GYs

Knox hospitals are at 84% bed utilization.

Oh look, something that Arizona trumpers stand a chance at winning.

What?
Even before the vaccine people had different reactions to exposure.
Different reactions, and by that I assume you mean symptoms, severity, outcomes etc. in individuals doesn’t equate to there necessarily being a mutation or differing strain. From what I can find, the first new variant appeared in September 2020 in the U.K, after that it didn’t happen again until December-January 2020-2021. It may not be all inclusive so I can only go off of what I’m finding, but outside of Alpha all the mutations and variants of concern have taken place after vaccination campaigns began.

If someone has a vaccine requirement and they don't get a vaccine, my reason is failure to follow company policy.
First of all, they aren't vaccines. Secondly, i guess you agree that an employer can change long standing policies at a moment's notice to get rid of employees.

I'm not going to quibble with you on the first part. Call it what you want. Second part, sure an employer can implement a new policy.

Wow. You just killed any desire i would habe had to go above and beyond if i worked for you. I woyld do nothing more than the bare minimum

Then I would fire you.

There is a difference in believing a company has the right and whether something is right to do.

I have spent 30 years busting my ass for my company. I habe saved/ made them untold dollars, and gotten people where they want to be. Went above and beyond, to get back on schedule... well outside of the bounds of 'bare minimum ' And i am the kind of employee you would fire, because you got your panties in a twist over a highly survivable disease and a 'vaccine' that is night proven nor tested, amd i put my health above your company.

I weep for the future of America.
